okay, okay, I'll start... it's been hot where I live and, while our air conditioner is functioning fine, it just can't keep up. I feel like I'm sweating to death every night and I'm definitely not sleeping under the covers
I started taking the girls swimming again at the outdoor pool down the street. It's the first place we've gone other than the doctor's office since this whole thing started. But the guards are TERRIBLE at having people keep their distance from others in the pool and it drives me nuts! Like, just remind the idiot 12 year olds to not jump all over my kids. Ugh. It's not that hard.
I work as a 1099 contractor and one of my clients is driving me up a wall, nickle and diming over minutes of my time and being an overall bitch 😑 I had to quickly excuse myself from our call Friday to get sick and when I called back I explained the situation cause who’s she going to tell anyway, that bitch just said oh ok, she’s a mom of 2 herself and can’t even say congrats 🙄
Just got back in town from the lake with my family. 11 of us in a 2 bdrm cabin. It was nice. But I was so tired, the nausea started. And now im home w my kiddos. But they have endless energy and I just want to lay down. Let alone all the crap I need to do!
Sorry, I should be happy. But man it seems much harder being pregnant at this age!
@Panaceia sorry. I don’t get how places say they are still enforcing the social distance stuff and don’t. I stayed at a hotel yesterday and they had these reminders of distance everywhere yet the elevators and bar, etc. were jammed packed w ppl.
@gembud people are so selfish. I feel that this pandemic has made it even worse. Maybe that’s my UO, but it’s been my experience.
@jlbaker08 I have the opposite problem! We're living with my in-laws during our home reno and they keep the house so freaking cold!! I have on a hoodie, sweatpants, and a blanket and I'm still freezing. I'm also one of those weird people who much prefer being hot over being cold, so I'll gladly switch with you lol
@313Meg we have a ceiling fan, but I'd need to turn it on helicopter speed to make a difference! @karisahamdi let's trade! I'd rather be cold and pull the covers up to my neck
$200 for the first 2 months, which I got filled yesterday.
Get home, go to take the first dose.
Bottle says "contains peanut and soy"
EXCUSE ME?!
I am seriously, highly anaphylactic to peanut.
Call the pharmacy this morning. They confirm in the ingredients, and call the manufacturer to confirm.
So I call my OB's office. Who is on vacation (for the first time in 4 years).
His receptionist says not to take the med (obviously) and she will call him.
He phones me at home, and is like...WTF pharmacy, giving that to you?!
He told me to call the hospital pharmacy, to see if they can make me my very own version of medication.
What if I hadn't seen the tiny sticker on the bottle?! Shoved a bunch of peanut oil up my who-ha and then went to sleep?! Would I have woken up when I couldn't breathe? Or just died. FML.
TLDR: pharmacy tried to kill me, with a medication I need to maintain my pregnancy...
@goldfishcraker that is insane! And so bad of the pharmacy for not checking your profile/chart. Good thing you read the lable. And yeah, why is that even a needed ingredient? Weird.
@kgg2241 right?! How did they not read that?!? It was a pharmacy student who was helping me, but wouldn't a pharmacist be the one filling it? Sheesh
@luckyduck42 I have NO idea why they need it. I imagine it's in the capsule? But come on..what a dumb ingredient!
@Panaceia I hope so too! They said it takes 2 business days to develop the special, safe medication. And they said someone from the team will call early next week to discuss cost. So hopefully I have it by Tuesday... I'm a little nervous. But thinking positive, sticky baby thoughts! Telling myself my body knows how to do this now, and wouldn't even need the med boost this time! FX...
Re: Monday B*tchfest 7/12
@Panaceia that is annoying and stressful!
@karisahamdi let's trade! I'd rather be cold and pull the covers up to my neck
