Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Friday 7/9

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Re: TWW Friday 7/9

  • Good morning all!

Month/Cycle: First month/first cycle TTC since TW: Feb 2020 when I suffered a mc at 11 weeks.

    CD/DPO: CD 21/ 7 DPO

    Timing:

    Typical LP length: 14 days

Testing: Not yet, trying my best to wait for menstrual due date (July 16)

    R/R:

    CS/Q:

    I apologize; I don't know what r/r and cs/ q mean! (new here)
Until now, I've had no symptoms. However, this morning throughout my breasts into my nipples are tingling, sensitive sensations, nothing like typical AF breast soreness!

Hi @laceygrimaldi! Welcome to TTGP. I definitely encourage you to introduce yourself in the newbie thread (https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12761300/newbie-intros-w-o-7-5#latest) and read the TTGP guide pinned to the top of the board. • @laceygrimaldi hi, and welcome! Agree with @fameonmain2 , please intro yourself on the newbie thread that so we can get to know you better! 😊

    Month/Cycle: 1AL

    CD/DPO: 22/9

    Timing: nope, benched

    Typical LP length: 14

    Testing: nope

R/R: so we've been hearing loud tweeting for a while...coming from a particular side of the house. I wondered if birds built a nest in the tree right outside our house, but nope, didn't see anything. Was in the driveway yesterday and looked up back at the house and WTF how did we miss this?!?!

    CS/Q: nope

  • @pajamstagrams lmao birds love those nooks and crannies! We have birds that love using our downspouts for their nest locations.

    Month/Cycle: 8 AL

    CD/DPO: 22/6

    Timing: -3, -1, 0

    Typical LP length: 13 days

    Testing: Sunday

R/R: today is likely my last check in before vacation time next week. Will likely lurk in the evenings should there be any Peggy drama ha. Don't forget to QFP! So far so good with the antihistamine protocol except the Benadryl is kicking my ass in the mornings. So tired. Lots of things still on my checklist. I've been meaning to give my menstrual cups a good sanitization with some boiling water because it got a bit stinky this cycle. I did start the capsule version of my prenatals that have iron so I'm thinking that's why the odor got worse this time around (gummy version doesn't include it). And I have to do it now because AF is due the day we come back home.

CS/Q: goofy chart this month. Hoping that's a good thing because all my extra pretty charts are BFNs lol

  • @laceygrimaldi welcome! You'll pick up on the lingo and acronyms as you post. I second (third?) the suggestion to post in the newbies thread, that way the community will see we have a new member to welcome

@pajamstagrams lol! Birds will make nests in the weirdest spots sometimes.

    @inthewoods23 ooh, enjoy your vacation!

    Month/Cycle: 9/8

    CD/DPO: 23/8

    Timing: O-1

    Typical LP length: 10-11 days

Testing: next week if no AF

R/R: Watching the rain totals keep increasing thanks to the tropical storm. Planning to bake some Italian bread and some brownies today in advance of my parents coming over for dinner tomorrow. Also heading to my parents' today to teach my mom how to sew a shirt, which should be fun! (legit fun not sarcastic fun, since tone is hard to read online lol)

CS/Q: Just chugging along. The TWW is easier to get through when you feel like it's not the month, lol. But, by this time next week I should be happy because I should either have a positive or have my CD3 testing done.

  • @inthewoods23 Enjoy the vacation! Fingers crossed for your testing day!

@pajamstagrams I feel like they can build those nests fast, really fast! We had one once in a similar position right outside our back door to the yard, and I didn't notice till my Hubby said it was there and I couldn't figure out how they'd made it without me noticing. We are in our backyard multiple times a day, and I didn't see it.

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 18/6

    Timing: -2 and -1

Typical LP length: 9/10 without B6 and just started that this month so hopefully it'll go up.

    Testing: Sunday

R/R: I drove to my virtual office today for the first time in probably 8 or 9 months, and barely remembered which exit to take on the highway. It felt so weird. It's been since March 2020 that I was actually in office working, and it felt like a different world.

    CS/Q: Nada
  • @inthewoods23 enjoy your vacation!! And hopefully your Benadryl hangover gets better!

@fantasyflyte what kind of shirt are you going to sew?? I can't say I've ever sewn a shirt, but I did make some pretty sweet pajama pants in home ec in 8th grade, so I'm kinda a big deal 😂

@Lcardinal04 hopefully you had a good first day back! Always weird to come back after a year.
