@fifilala516 and @jessier19 Reading these stories definitely helps! My hpt lines have been WAY darker each morning, including this morning (it is as dark as the control at 12dpo) so I feel like if this was a chemical my lines would have started to get lighter...or at least not progressed as quickly...right???? Gah. This is completely doing my head in!

@Panaceia Thinking of you and glad that test turned a nice solid line for you. I really hope the spotting turns out to be nothing.

When I had my chemical the lines definitely did not get darker. Sounds like a sticky baby to me. Fingers crossed!

@Panaceia I think the lines getting darker is a great sign. Fx and hopefully you will get some positive reassurance soon.

Yes @panaceia, if it was a chemical the lines would definitely be getting lighter! I would also get some digital tests if you can to take the guesswork out of it. I will keep my fingers crossed for you and hope you can have some peace of mind before you see the doctor!

@fifilala516 I did a clearblue digital weeks indicator test today and it gave me 2-3 weeks already at only 12dpo...so my hcg should be at least 153 (probably closer to 200) in order to get the 2-3 weeks reading. I'll take another one in a week and see if it has progressed to 3+. Not getting a 3+ has always been my cue that something was wrong so hopefully that will help.

@Panaceia that sounds really good with the digital test. Hopefully your hCG levels continue to rise and it is just from implantation. 

My spotting seems to have gotten less, but I had bad cramps most of the day. My biggest concern is ectopic, but I think I would have more bleeding. Only 3 more days till the US.

@Sarah0335 FX for a great ultrasound! Hopefully the spotting will be gone completely by tomorrow. I agree about the amount of bleeding with an ectopic. We were worried about this with my last loss but my doctor said I would have had more bleeding with ectopic.

The spotting *seems* to have stopped. No more since late afternoon yesterday. And my tests are obviously darker than yesterday so I'm feeling cautiously optimistic again...likely to my own detriment but I'm taking to good where I can find it! 🙌

Hey, all. I had some spotting today. Pink when I wiped, then brownish on a pad. My tests have been getting darker, so I’m not sure what to make of things yet. Please send any positive thoughts/vibes/prayers our way. ❤️

@elle-0409 sending you positive, sticky vibes! How far along are you? Could it be delayed implantation bleeding? (I got implantation spotting for a day, then nothing for 2 days, then even heavier spotting, and I freaked out).

@goldfishcraker Thank you. ❤️ I’m hoping it’s breakthrough bleeding. I got a faint line at 12dpo and had the test line as dark as the control line this morning at 18dpo. I’m 4w, 4d. I’m glad that you’ve stopped spotting, but sorry for the stress!

@elle-0409 FX it's nothing! You saw my freak out above...brown spotting after a...strenuous...visit to the toilet. It was only that afternoon and not again and my tests have gotten super dark since Monday as well. Did you do anything before the spotting happened that might have caused it?

ETA your EDD is fairly close to mine so spotting around the same time as me seems like it would make sense:)

@Panaceia I thought about you and your situation! I didn’t do anything strenuous, but I do take progesterone vaginally every night, so it could be irritating things. I haven’t had any more spotting, but I’ll keep a very close eye on things. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@elle-0409 I had some bleeding later in my pregnancy with DD2 and my specialist said to to think of it like a nose bleed. Sometimes blood vessels just break. That has stuck with me ever since! I'm sorry you're stuck with this stress now too:(

@313Meg Thank you. I haven’t seen anymore spotting, but had a “whisper” of pink when I wiped this afternoon. The first trimester is such a mindf*ck. I’m going to listen to an Oprah podcast and eat some mashed potatoes. ❤️

My spotting/wiping is now a bright red. I called the on-call physician and she said to call my doctor’s office when they open tomorrow to get my levels checked. Obviously, if the bleeding gets severe I should go to the ER.
