Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Monday 7/5

Re: TWW Monday 7/5

  • Month/Cycle: 9/8

    CD/DPO: 19/4 (!!!)

    Timing: O-1

    Typical LP length: 10-11 days

Testing: early next week if no AF

R/R: not a ton going on. Had a nice dinner at my sister's yesterday and then came home and comforted my dog all night with the fireworks going off. Planning to finish tackling the house deep clean this week.

CS/Q: I ovulated on CD15! I've literally never had such an early O the entire time I've been tracking. I'm very excited because that means, assuming AF comes, that I can get my CD3 bloodwork and ultrasound done before vacation. It also means, assuming this is the new normal, that I'm getting more chances because I'm ovulating a solid two weeks sooner than I used to. The cinnamon must have really helped a lot because I only just started the metformin last week.

  • @fantasyflyte lurking from WTO but curious about the cinnamon-you said you were recommended tea but you don't like it-any chance there was a specific tea? There are plenty of teas with cinnamon in them but wasn't sure how much I needed for it to make a difference.
  • @SmashJam my obgyn recommended just straightup boiling cinnamon and ginger to make my own tea, with a bit of mint and/or lemon for taste. When I saw her last week, she agreed that taking the cinnamon supplement was good given I couldn't stomach the teas. I've been taking a supplement daily - the dose is 1000mg daily, using 500mg capsules, so I just take one in the morning and one at night. They look like they're just ground cinnamon in a capsule, but I use the Sundown brand on amazon in the orange bottle.
  • @fantasyflyte yay for a nice early O!! That’s so exciting!! FX for you!

    Month/Cycle: 25/3 AL

    CD/DPO: 35/12

    Timing: not good enough

    Typical LP length: 13

    Testing: BFNs all weekend, WFAF

R/R: Welp, no Italy baby happening here. I’ve had BFNs all weekend long and AF is due tomorrow. I was stupidly optimistic about getting KU on my first try back on medicated cycles again but here we are.

I made strawberry scones this morning with freshly picked strawberries and I’m pretty happy with how they turned out.

    CS/Q:

  • @fantasyflyte so exciting about your early ovulation date!! I hope that pattern continues for you!

@gingermama29 sorry about your BFNs ❤️

The scones you made sound delicious! 😋

    Month/Cycle: 1 AL

    CD/DPO: 18/5

    Timing: n/a benched

    Typical LP length: 14

    Testing: nope

R/R: it's been a fun weekend with my family! A little rainier and cooler than we hoped given our plans for chilling in the pool, but we were able to turn the heater on and make it warmer.

CS/Q: nope, very happy to be back to "normal", we'll see how my LP fares now that I'm back on PG.
  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 16/4

    Timing: -2, -1

Typical LP length: 9/10 without B6

    Testing: Nope

R/R plus a Q: Not a lot going on. B6 isn't making my sick to my stomach this time which is awesome! To start the intentional TTC process I started B6 the day after ovulation to figure out if that helps the LP, or if I need to take them the whole cycle as I'd done previously. If anyone has experience with B6 I'd appreciate any and al stories.

  • @Lcardinal04 b vitamins (and any multivitamin with B) make me nauseous AF, so I only take them at night. Game changer!!
  • @pajamstagrams I am SO envious! Its works wonders for so many people and yet, alas, I end up waking up with horrendous nausea and heartburn. Though maybe I should attempt it again since my body has obviously changed a bit.
