Pulling sensation in right lower abdomen IVF pregnancy

Hello all

I am currently 4w5d pregnant via IVF. Was not suppose to have my first ob u/s until Monday, but went in today with pulling sensation pain in lower right abdomen region. It’s a pulling/sharp pain. Doctor checked and they found the yolk sak, mentioned everything is where it should be, especially considering I went in earlier for the u/s. No bleeding at all, only the pulling sensation. Anyone else ever experience this? This is an IVF pregnancy, so needless to say, getting here has been a long, painful, but worth it journey, and I’m terrified.

What exactly are you afraid of? Your doctor carefully placed it and confirmed it’s a uterine pregnancy and not ectopic. Weird sensations are normal. Light cramping, spotting, pulling, twinges, gas pains… trust your doctor and possibly talk to them about your anxiety surrounding this. If you can’t trust your doctor, find one that you can trust.
