Weekend Randoms 6/19-6/20

What’s going on this weekend, ladies? 

I’ll start: today my husband and I are checking out a house (I’m desperate for another bedroom, we’ll see) and then we’re on our way to a resort for the weekend. Very excited for some relaxation and reading by the pool. Not super excited for the nausea that will hit after our big dinner tonight with a group of my husband’s friends and wives. One guy in the group really does things big, and I have a feeling it’ll be a whole long deal and I’ll poop out early 😄

My 2 year old cut her hair this morning…so maybe getting that fixed? 😭😂🤦🏽‍♀️

Also working on some kitchen reno details.

I’m still not sure what we are doing for Father’s Day either 😬.

@kcf19 Oh no! I’m counting down the days before my 2 year old does this. He has a pair of pretend scissors that he “cuts” his hair with, and then he’ll walk around with the scissors stuck in his hair 😂 I’m just waiting for the day he grabs his brother’s actual scissors and does the same.

My husband is dragging me to the pool at our complex but I would rather stay inside with the AC and play on TikTok. Tomorrow we will see my parents and in-laws for a Father’s Day BBQ.

We went to Peter Rabbit 2 and it was really cute! Planning on watching Luca at home today too. Enjoying a lazy movie day for sure! 

@kcf19 my son did that too when he was 3. Complete cut the left side of his bangs. It was so bad. I'm partially to blame. He'd seen me cutting split ends out of my hair before and was just copying me. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Shoot I think I actually just reported you 🤦🏽‍♀️, sorry. I’m actually surprised we’ve gone this long without a personal hair cut. Also can’t believe her dexterity to be able to cut behind her head. I guess she was sick of the mullet 😆

My kids have been swimming in the pool all weekend which means someone has to play lifeguard and I’d rather sit inside the AC and sleep. We watched Luca for movie night which was torture. I dislike a lot of kids movie, but I try. Tonight we’re watching Super 8 which is something I can tolerate!

My daughter and me got haircuts this morning and then shopping at Target. She was showing me some baby clothes and said it’s so hard not to buy anything yet. So true! 😆 Then my son had a baseball game and we went for icecream after.
Fathers day were going to my in-laws and enjoying their inground pool! 😎 Again, I wish i could partake in the margaritas haha

Sounds like everyone has awesome weekend plans! Have fun everyone!

My two brothers and their families come in town tomorrow from Florida.  It’s their first time visiting California.  I’m so excited to see them and my nieces and nephews and show them this state I love so much!  So I am just resting until then.  I dragged myself to the gym for a workout (swim) this morning so feel ok being kinda lazy the rest of the day.  My sister in law bought all the guys matching shirts for Father’s Day (she wanted to make them and put a photo of our ultrasound on it which I vetoed) since we are all going to dinner that night.

I bummed it at my mom’s house all weekend and my kids pretty much lived outside. It was wonderful. Heading home tomorrow and not ready to go back to solo parenting...but my garden needs water 😅 Plus I think she’s coming over to do an adventure to the beach with us later this week so it’s not too long.
