Re: Why My Pregnant Self is Crying - June 2021

  • Just watched an episode of Lucifer that gave me all the feels. 🥺😭. I don’t want to spoil it in case you ladies watch it.
  • Loading the player...
  • I LOVE Lucifer! I’m only on season 3 so don’t ruin it! :)
  • @jenniferjoy37 Lucifer is such a great show! I dropped off after probably season 2 but have been meaning to start watching it again for some time.

I have to ask... am I the only one NOT crying more during the pregnancy? During my first pregnancy, I only teared up once and that was while reading a text from a friend of mine announcing that her daughter was born.
  • I won’t ruin it for you guys, but damn, it hit home after having kids...

@mayoduck I’m not usually a cryer, but I feel like I’m more emotional. Like little things get me more than they should...
  • @mayoduck I feel like I cried more/was more emotional and moody in the first tri but my hormones seemed to have levelled out now

  • @mayoduck I am an emotional mess. I hardly cried with my last baby though. If anything I think I was quicker to laugh with her.
  • I'm a crier not pregnant, if any emotion (happy, mad, sad, whatever) hits a certain level my body releases the pressure valve and I tear up lol. Pregnancy has definitely made that pressure valve more sensitive.
  • Because DH refused to open the balcony door to let the kid out. He suggested that I do it. And the tears flowed. Gosh this is so messed up.. wasn’t emotional with my last pregnancy until the very end and that too due to health reasons. But I’m getting so touchy already this time around
