Ok I got one. I really hate whenever people say "fur baby," for no other reason than that it sounds really annoying. I also don't like the word "goldendoodle" at all and refuse to ever get one so I don't have to say that word. Where is that first D in "doodle" even coming from? Poodle starts with P and there is no D in "retriever." It's like the person that invented that word was just trying to make it sound obnoxious.
@sliztee I'm in the same boat being an HSP. Mostly, all I can think of are sensory issues, like if someone scrapes a fork against their teeth or worse I accidently do it myself. Just thinking about it makes my skin crawl.
@RoseShadow873 I had never thought about that, but I'm equally as annoyed now 🤣. Where DID the first "d" come from? I thought maybe there was a third dog mixed in that I didn't know about so I googled it, and nope. Apparently they are also called "Groodles"? Which I find equally as dumb just by the way it sounds lol
@artsiefartsie My weirdest one is unloading dishes or grabbing them from the cabinets; they are so dry that they make a terrible sound and feel absolutely repulsive to my fingers. I legitimately have to wet my hands in the sink before I pick them up.
It’s so bad that I’m too repulsed to be around the sound if someone else is making it and have to leave the room before I go into a full-blown rage.
@jenniferjoy37 Yes. People who don't signal to change lanes, people who don't signal when they are making a right turn (when I'm waiting to make a turn and not moving because I have to assume they are going straight), and the people in my neighborhood who just stop the car in the middle of the road when they are waiting to pick up someone.. like would it kill you to take three extra seconds to pull over to the curb?
@mayoduck maybe it’s just driving in general for me! Hahaha. I seriously think people need to retake their drivers test every 10 years to keep their ability to drive. One test at 16 just doesn’t cut it. Driving is a privilege, not a right. If you can’t drive and follow the rules, you don’t get to...
Agree with all the driving peeves. Driving like a maniac to get one car ahead, changing lanes in an intersection, tailgating. Yesterday I had a guy in the straight lane decide he wanted to turn left so he just casually turned on his blinker (well that was nice) and turned left... right in front of me and everyone else in the left turn lane. I'm still not sure he didn't realize he wasn't in a turn lane.
