I thought I’d go ahead and start this since some of you already know, and others are getting back their NIPT or sneak peak results soon!

@midwestmomma2 that is so exciting! I wish I could do that, but I know myself and I’d totally creep on the NIPT results 🙈. What a beautiful and exciting experience!

We are team pink. She was our last known girl embryo. We had 8 embryos and tested 4 (because they were already frozen, it can be hard on them to thaw and freeze twice). Our first two transfers of girls was a chemical and a failed transfer. She truly feels like our miracle. I feel so lucky to be able to have one of each. I grew up with all sisters and girls in the neighborhood so a boy has been a bit of a learning for me! Excited to pass on all my saved barbies and Polly pockets and such to this girl!

I think it’s a boy but have no reasoning lol. I have three girls so maybe that’s why I’m feeling that. My partner and I joke that I feel like absolute 💩 bc it’s a boy, as I felt wonderful and looked great in my previous pregnancies, but again that’s prob bc I'm old now 😹

@bkjade we dont know yet, but my husband and I both are guessing boy because of how completely different I am feeling this time as opposed to with my daughter.   But who knows!

@JamieH2000 aww congrats! That’s awesome!

@bkjade my DH thinks this is a boy for us! I keep saying “she” in my mind when I reference the baby, so I don’t know if that means anything haha. We have a girl already, so either way I’ll be happy! 

@scaredunprepared this pregnancy has been different for me too, maybe ours is a boy as well? Haha!

I just had my NIPT bloodwork drawn today! They say 1 week turnaround. Cannot believe we are this close to knowing! Once you know gender, it changes everything. It also kick-starts the shopping spree 😂 I’m so excited, and since I’ll be 12 or 13 weeks, we will also tell DD she’s getting a sibling, and we can include details on whether it’s a little bro/sis, which will help her come to terms with it. She’s 4 & 1/2 and has insisted she doesn’t need siblings...

My intuition has always been wrong, but hubby has always been right, so it's bizarre we both agree on this one.  We will know in 7 weeks at the anatomy scan (that feels like an eternity away!)

@JamieH2000 actually she has never been into dolls! I bought her a couple over the years and she never picked them up LOL. But she does have a little cousin that she's been really sweet and gentle with. As she gets older (baby cousin is almost 2 now) she's become more fascinated with her, wants to help her. So there is hope!

@PrettyPalomino lol, we asked our daughter if she wanted a baby brother and she said “no” (which surprised me because most of her friends are boys), but when we asked if she wanted a baby sister she kind of hesitated like “welllll maybe” 

then we asked if she just wanted only furry siblings (ie our pets) and she said “yes!!” 😂 

She’s not into dolls AT ALL sooooooo we’ll see!

@PYLWhammy YES we've actually asked her a few times over the last couple of years if she wants a sibling and she always says the same thing, "no, I don't need one, I have _______" and fill in the blank with her favorite stuffie of the day lol

It's so cute how they think their life is complete with what they already have

@rgn12 - I know you already found out, but if anyone else is wanting to stay team green and struggling a little there is a box you can check on the NIPT form so it won't report the sex so the temptation won't be there  

I'm 90% sure we're team green. We found out by NIPT with DS1 and were team green with DS2.

We are unsure right now. My husband, family, & friends are super team girl since we have 2 boys already. I’m like 🥴 I’m good with another boy, but whatever happens, happens! I just pray for a really healthy, happy bundle of joy!

@mommyb31 - lol similar but I have three girls! I’m good with another girl (I have got the girl thing down now!) but everyone else is really super team boy. I’m really happy with a healthy 👶 too ❤️

Our NIPS results came back when we were on vacation and my nurse reassured me that they wouldn’t say the sex over the phone, because my eldest DD wanted to do a sex reveal, but my doc called and I got the visual voicemail…we’re having a boy.

We all thought it was a girl because my youngest DS is being so sweet to me. (I know it’s just an old wives tale)

It’s a boy!

So crazy... feels so real now. Let the nesting (& shopping) begin! I think we will tell DD tomorrow morning, IF she’s in a super good mood. We need to catch her at the right moment. I already anticipate disappointment but the “boy” thing might make it worse 😂

@j-to-the-amie @JamieH2000 - my oldest daughters are in college so they’re pretty chill about it but my youngest was thrilled. She was really hoping for a sister. My partner is happy too but I think he was hoping for a boy, he is pretty outnumbered lol.

We're having a girl!!! I know DH probably wanted a boy but my son is 11 so I have ZERO boy stuff anymore. 🤣 But I saved ALL of DD's stuff. I had a feeling it was a girl because her heart rate has been consistently high like her sisters was. Such a relief to not have to go out and buy all new stuff since the car seat, stroller, pack and play, etc is girl themed. 🤣🎀
