@eggsbene42- where are you going in FL? We are going to the Destin area in two weeks! We are supposed to drive 15 hours overnight to get there, but unless the nausea lets us I’m not sure I can. Maybe split it into two 8 hour drive days but that will be harder on the toddler I think...

  • @magalina_h I craved Jersey Mike's all the time with DD, and I don't think I ever denied myself lol.

I've been so exhausted which has been compounded by my father visiting this week (gah family!) and I dropped him off at the airport yesterday morning then I didn't do a damn thing for the rest of the day. I ordered take out lunch *and* dinner and watched movies with my youngest kid. I felt like a piece of sh*t mother, but I'm calling it ok in the name of self-care.
  • @eggsbene42 , @JamieH2000  we just got back from FL last month (10 yr anniversary trip with no kids!) and I was just telling DH I was glad we went when we did, cause if I felt like I do now while I was on vacation it would have been way less enjoyable! I did avoid all drinks because I had an inkling that I may be pregnant, so that was a bit of a bummer.

@bkjade don’t be so hard on yourself! It is exhausting growing a child and raising children at the same time! You deserve some rest, and without having to cook! Hope you had a good visit with your father.
  • @savedbygrace1213- our trip was booked in anticipation of this transfer not working and us needing to get away. Of course we are thrilled it worked,  but I probably wouldn’t have booked this trip!! O well, in two weeks I’ll be 11.5 weeks and hopefully starting to turn the corner!

  • @JamieH2000 so glad that it is a celebration trip instead!! FX for you that you will feel great by then!
  • We’ve eaten so much takeout and fast food this week, it’s gross. And tomorrow I promised DD she could get a happy meal if she cooperates for her skating lesson, so.. more fast food. And then I’m sure we’ll go out for dinner for Mother’s Day. You’d think our kitchen would be pristine since we’re  barely using it, but... no, it’s a wreck.
  • @PYLWhammy that meme is so true where it talks about adulting meaning always having to clean the kitchen whether you make a meal, have takeout, or eat out. Ughh.. dishes are the worst. And my kids can’t seem to drink out of the same cup all day. :/

@PYLWhammy same on food, same on kitchen lol
  • @PYLWhammy I literally went to the store for dinner, then decided to order out. We’ve eaten out more than I care to admit. Like Knottienumbers said, I want home cooked meals, but don’t want to cook.
  • Omg yes we're eating out SOOOO much these days.  I think we have only eaten home cooked twice this entire week.
  • We left our daughter with my MIL all day to run errands (including follow up ultrasound) and we loved our freedom!  We definitely took our time getting home.  I love my daughter, but I love her more when I'm missing her all day!
  • @PYLWhammy I was just coming here to say the same!!

We’ve ate at braums FOUR times this week and I’ve had the same guy take my order every time 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ Kind of embarrassing

  • same same on all accounts! Love me some Teen Mom OG and RHOC. I scoop any remaining cold foam out of my cup with my finger and lick the lid. I’m going to Florida in August and dreading the heat with a giant bump.

My 20mo has been napping going on 4 hours and I’m secretly loving it.
