    Upcoming appointments: I had an appointment today, the next one isn't until June

    How are you feeling?: large and uncomfortable so I'm a little nervous what's to come haha.  I don't remember feeling like this until much later with my son.

    Rants/Raves: still stressing about daycare since I can't find anything with openings until June 2022.

    Questions:

    GTKY:What is your favorite movie? 🍿 oh my gosh, this is hard.  I don't know I have a favorite but I do enjoy a good rom com

    Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: Sept. 12, 21+1

    Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: An endive, and weighs as much as a can of pop lol

    Upcoming appointments: Appointment with my GP in a few weeks, unless I've been transferred to my OB before that. And I have to book a follow up ultrasound for end of the month since my anatomy scan showed my placenta very low. 

    How are you feeling?: Mostly good, got my first Covid vax shot on Friday and barely had side effects so that was a relief. But feeling large and slow already, and heartburn is killing me today. 

    Rants/Raves: Unreasonably happy that I found diet root beer on my grocery shop today. I generally dislike diet pop but I have been craving root beer the last while and I feel like trash after all the sugar in a regular pop.

    GTKY:What is your favorite movie? 🍿 Oh gosh, I actually don’t know if I have an actual favourite movie! But I love the Marvel movies and laugh at the Hangover EVERY time.

    Upcoming appointments: 22 week checkup on 5/11, fetal echocardiogram on 5/13
    How are you feeling?: Aside from some back pain, I feel good! I love feeling movement. 
    Rants/Raves:  Thank you to everyone who gave me some advice on a pregnancy pillow! I'm looking at a few options on Amazon. I finally told my students and they were excited. A few had figured it out/were suspicious, but a few others were completely surprised. Now I can wear things that are clearly maternity clothing. 
    Questions: Nope!
    GTKY:What is your favorite movie? 🍿Hmm. I have three that I can't decide! 1."Singin' in the Rain" is my favorite classic. 2. I love Sofia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette". The costumes are SO beautiful. 3. "Spotlight". It's incredibly hard to watch *TW* because it is about the child sexual abuse scandal in Boston*TW* but the acting is top-notch and they don't add any fluff or fictional romance.

    Upcoming appointments: some time early June.  Still have to call to book the appointment. 
    How are you feeling?: Over all pretty good.  Out of breath and tired a lot.  
    Rants/Raves: my cold came back for my birthday.  If covid wasn't happening I would have been a lot more upset about it. But since I couldn't do anything anyways I don't really care.

    @lmcw glad you had no side effects from the shot!

    sawasap yay for getting your first shot!  It's definitely a relief to know you have some protection.

    @runningoncookies isn't it kind of cruel having a hard time sleeping during pregnancy when we're going to be up all night with baby in a few months?

    Upcoming appointments: quick check ultrasound next week, then nothing until June and the GD test
    How are you feeling?: Depends on the day. Some days I feel great, some days I can barely move. Ugh. 
    Rants/Raves: DH hit a horrible spot last night with my PIO shot and it was HELL getting comfortable to go to sleep...and I didn't sleep good the previous two nights so I'm beat.

    @sawasap yes for LOTR fans!!! So good :) a trip to NZ has been on my bucket list forever (and given their covid numbers, I now want to move there haha) 

    @emeraldduchess Spotlight was amazing. My husbands family is all catholic (we are not) so it’s definitely hard to watch! But I agree that I love the acting and the non-addition of a pointless love interest.

    Upcoming appointments: i get my Covid vaccine on Saturday! So excited for that. Then 24 wk appt not till 20th and I'll need to book my glucose test.
    How are you feeling?: Feel pretty good, super hungry lately. Baby is sitting VERY low and that can be super uncomfortable.
    Rants/Raves: I AM OVER REMOTE LEARNING

    GTKY:What is your favorite movie? Oooo that's a tough one. Chef is probably my favourite, Breakfast Club & Empire Records are up there too.

    @muggsd That's so frustrating, especially knowing that the longer they wait to give you details the trickier (or more expensive) it could be to book what you want to accommodations and such. I hate knowing I need to plan something but not being able to do it yet!

    @sawasap So glad you're getting your vax tomorrow! I was prepared for feeling like crap so I was pleasantly surprised, I hope yours goes the same way! Even though I'm in the two week wait until antibodies can be expected it's just such a relief to know that I'm closer to having some protection. You're in or around Ottawa if I remember correctly? I'm in the GTA and the numbers have been awful here too, especially hearing how many pregnant women have been ending up in the ICU recently. Very thankful they moved pregnant women up the list!

    @runningoncookies I'm jealous of your weather. We got teased with a nice week in April, but since then it's snowed (the nerve...) and just been cold and raining and crap!! 

    @emeraldduchess Oh my gosh, I didn't even think of Spotlight, such a good movie! I feel like the year it came out there were a lot of Oscar best picture noms that I really enjoyed!

    @lmcw Yep, Ottawa. We went down to double digit case numbers today for the first time since March, so exciting! Both of my parents just had sore arms, so I'm hoping that'll be my experience as well.

    @muggsd @lmcw I may need to watch it again soon! I grew up outside of Boston so you can imagine the attention the film got here. 
    @nasalot188 I hear you on remote learning. The school system I teach in just switched back to full time, in-person learning after being in a hybrid model. I still find myself talking to the laptop half the time!

    How are you feeling?: Ehh. Super tired all the time and I’m starting the job search over at 22 weeks 🙄 definitely not ideal. Plus baby kicks are getting a little less enjoyable

    @feelingjovani yes it is so unfair!! All I want is to wake up feeling rested haha!

    @nasalot188 remote learning is truly the worst. my district is mostly back to in-person but I still have a handful of remote students that I’m working with. We are almost to summer...so close!!

    @lmcw now it’s been chilly and rainy here too 😩
