R/R: Rant - I got sunburnt on Saturday and it still stings. I'm usually pretty good about wearing sunscreen, but thanks to COVID, I'm not used to being outside, lol. Plus, it was the first warm sunny day of the year, so I wasn't expecting it.

Rave - We had a pretty good weekend. Got a lot done around the house, got to see some friends on Saturday, and made a yummy HelloFresh dinner last night.

@babyodo ouch about sunburn! We’re going to all have to relearn our pre-pandemic habits! Sounds like you had a productive weekend though!

Typical LP length: 15-17 days depending on when I stop progesterone 

Testing: not until 14DPO; I’m also doing progesterone monitoring via blood tests so might not test at all

R/R: I had a wonderful weekend albeit I feel like I could use another day to rest. On Saturday we had a new friend come by with her dog (she is someone I met at my fertility therapy class in Nov and so it was first time meets her and her husband in person.) Our dogs had a very fun time playing with each other although we had to call timeout on them several times due to rough play. And then yesterday DH got his 2nd vaccine dose so was our for most of the day (and is still achy today) so I used the opportunity to finish all the laundry (including folding), so some reading and also practice piano. 

CS/Q: many will claim that I O’ed on CD21 but I’m staying firm with CD20 because of other symptoms confirming the earlier ovulation. Either way, we didn’t exactly try hard this cycle.

@babyodo I'm feeling the same about the sunscreen! I'm a greasy mess if I don't let my moisturizer soak in for a little while so I end up skipping it with WFH.

@acleverusername with how nice the weekend was here, I also wished we had another day. We're back in the 50s/60s from being in the 80s. Such a tease feeling the summer weather!

Testing: Welp, I realized yesterday that I either needed to truly WFAF (which I never do) or start testing out the trigger from the IUI. Yesterday the trigger was still going strong, and today it’s lighter but still there, so who knows when it will be fully out of my system... I may just stop testing it now and wait for AF.  

R/R: Rave: Another beautiful day! I’m definitely going to get out and take a walk in the sunshine at some point. No rants at the moment  

CS/Q: Temps due to supplementing, I think. Oddly, I’ve realized the estradiol is what makes my boobs hurt.

@keikilove there you are! And also, LOL at this thread being busy next week... for sure!!! And yes, the pupper is definitely a bright light in our lives! I think she will be of great support as we start IVF. She went to the doggy spa first time today. She has the cutest corgi butt now! Your temps are crazy rocky! interesting about sore boobs and estrodial... it's not progesterone? Btw, did you figure out what hormone relates to changes in RHR?

@acleverusername Yeah, it’s so strange about the estradiol. There were a couple months where I was only supplementing with progesterone and didn’t have sore tatas. The last couple cycles they get sore as soon as I add the estradiol back in (my schedule is to add it a day after PIO). No, I haven’t figured out what’s caused my RHR to drop (besides not being KU!) but I’ve definitely noticed an increase in RHR after adding PQQ. I also then added the NAD+ and Pterostilbene and I think all these mitochondria-supporting supps are what’s causing the increase in heart rate. At first I didn’t do those because I was already doing Resveratrol & I thought it would be overkill. But it makes me feel really good energy-wise to take them all so I’m going to continue. Do I have it right that you’re taking LDN? If so, have you noticed any changes on it?

@keikilove yep! I'm taking LDN. Not sure re: changes. I have the same issue of having started LDN at the same time as NAD and Pterostilbene so I don't know if it's one or the other or all together that's making me feel much more full of energy! That said, I'm taking LDN for Hashimoto's. I do wonder if it's reduced my antibodies count; I'm due for another TPO/TSH test so I can let you know then.

@acleverusername Oh, interesting timing with all those! I just started LDN this week and I feel SO good. Not sure if it's related, but my heart rate has dropped quite low this cycle compared to last cycle, and I'm wondering if it's because I'm sleeping so deeply after taking the LDN... Please do let me know whether it's affected your upcoming TPO/TSH levels. I'm curious to see what it affects.
