Trying to Get Pregnant

WTF Wednesday 4.28

What’s got you shoveling s**t today?

Re: WTF Wednesday 4.28

  • God I just wish my coworker would get fired....

So our job consists of handling customer calls and emails that come in. Additionally we've got other project type stuff like writing up some technical documents or putting together presentations. Every so often when there's a lot going on we do a coordinated effort of blocking off our calendars for half a day and solely work on our separate stuff and don't answer calls or emails. One of us takes the morning, one takes the afternoon. So today I'm off doing my stuff this morning. And well guess what... my coworker hasn't answered a single email so far this morning and appears to not be answering the phone calls either.

So... am I just doing EVERYTHING today??? What the absolute F. This happens every. freaking. time. UGH

  • Back to back to back meetings make me want to run out of my house screaming and never come back. Add to my general lack of motivation to do work anyway, and I’m so burnt out. Anyway a sub-wtf is that I tried to start one of my back to back meetings 10 min late to have a short break and the lady I was meeting with ran our meeting over. 😐

  • @inthewoods23 I'm having similar problems with a supervisor right now. she's supposed to be doing, you know, her job and she just...doesn't. but we can't afford to fire her in the meantime. ugh. I hope your coworker issue gets resolved sooner rather than later and that it's not too stressful
  • Quick rant... how has The Bump not added more reaction emojis yet?? A heart is all we get?? Come on... it can't be that hard to figure out.

@inthewoods23 That is so frustrating. We have the same issue at my job. I straight up call people out now. It actually doesn't help much but it gets so old when you can't depend on people to do their actual jobs.
  • @kgg2241 the site would be down like 3 months if it tried to implement a new feature 😂
  • @kgg2241 I wish there was a list somewhere of all the ones you can create. There's the 16 in the drop down, but you can get a lot more by typing the colon plus certain words. Like :star: is ": star :" but without the spaces. I guess there's also this one haha  The word doesn't always match what I consider the emoji's expression to be. Like :triumph: is with the word triumph. This is why it's better to just post from my phone so I can use my phone's emojis.
