Re: WTO Tuesday 4.13

  • Sorry the spacing is so messed up today. But I'm not sorry enough to try to fix it more 🤷‍♀️😂

    Month/Cycle: 4/4
    CD: 14
    WAYDTGKU: bbt
R/R: uhhh surprise, painters are here today! Got a call yesterday evening asking if they could come today 😳 cue the mad scramble to move all our stuff off the walls.
CS/Q: what the heck is with my cycle this month? Still don't think I'm 4 DPO yet since I put in some fake temps for Wed/Thurs a bit higher than today's and it adjusted O date to yesterday, as I expected. But here it is in all it's glory. Probably will move over to TWW tomorrow provided I get a good, high temp!

  • @pajamstagrams ohhh what are you getting painted/what color(s) did you choose? Love new paint.

    Month/Cycle: 10

    CD: 1

    WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPKs

R/R: So last month was crazy and stressful and we took a TTC break, didn't chart or anything. Since I wasn't really tracking I didn't catch a temp shift but I noticed a lot of fertile CM around CD 14-16 which is super duper unusual for me but I thought my body was faking me out. Then cramps woke me up in the middle of the night Sunday night to Monday morning and I thought hmm... and started spotting last night. So I'm pretty sure I O'd early, the first time I've O'd that early since the first month I got off of BC (I'm usually a CD 20-22 kinda girl). Now I'm interested to see if this is a continuing trend or what!

  • @fameonmain2 nothing exciting. Repainting ceilings to a whiter white, and the walls to a different white, but in eggshell instead of flat finish. Our current ceiling/walls is a kinda yellow ish color. So far they've done the ceiling downstairs and it looks so much better. We can't do any colors because we have such poor natural light and it would make the house feel really dark.

Also re: your early O, cycles are weird and frustrating sometimes...you think you've got a good pattern going and BAM! Different.

  • @pajamstagrams ooooh yes please share!
@fameonmain2 hey! both sad to see you back here but also glad to see you? is that weird? sorry about AF but fx that good CM and earlier O stay with you this cycle!

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    WAYDTGKU: bbt, pnv, cm/cp

R/R: IT IS SO SUNNY AND WARM!!!!! I am sad to be inside an office for the majority of the days this week but am excited for getting off work and getting to go outside while it's still clear and warm :) Growing up in FL I thought I hated the sun...nope, just that humidity xD

CS/Q: pretty sure O happened two days ago between the CM/opk/bbt, just waiting for that third higher temp and (hopefully) some crosshairs before switching over to TWW.

  • Month/Cycle: Treatment / 1<div>CD: 4</div><div>WAYDTGKU: FET Prep</div><div>
</div><div>R/R: WFH is humming along, but I still have to connect my extra monitor, shift the rug over, just some setup stuff like that so I'm a bit more comfortable... I might even break out the bouncy ball to sit on, cos man - I am not used to sitting still all day at the computer like this.  Rave, I guess is I get to chat for 20 min with (hopefully someone who can become) a mentor of sorts at work tomorrow.... I just have to gather my thoughts bc I'm really not sure how I want to approach it. 🤔

</div><div class="Spoiler">CS/Q: Nothing to see here...

  • @fameonmain2 Earlier O is possibly exciting!  GL this cycle (((hugs)))

@pajamstagrams ooh!  That sounds wonderful! IKWYM about the ceilings and the white - in our house when we moved in we didn't paint all the ceilings and I just lurve the rooms that have that nice fresh, bright white up top!  You don't even realize how dingy it gets until it's painted.  Although, there is a mark / stain on the ceiling in the room I'm in right now, I would absolutely love for DH to help me retouch, bc it drives me bonkers lol<div>
@chgilmore.   It is beautiful here, too!  I hear you with the humidity - blech.  I can do without that, but I love the warm temps otherwise.  Hope to get outside on my lunch break!</div>
  • @pajamstagrams agreed with @BusinessWife sometimes that fresh paint makes all the difference! I love home improvement stuff so feel free to share pics if you're comfortable :)
  • @pajamstagrams fresh paint is the best! Even if it's just white, it really makes the whole room look updated. We bought our current house 2 years ago and have just finished all of our renovations - and everything has a fresh coat of paint. So nice to look at!

@chgilmore thanks! Of course want to move on from here but I love the support of this group
It looks gorgeous outside here too! But I haven't been able to step out yet. Teaching from home today since there's a COVID cluster at my school.

@BusinessWife that's exciting about the possible mentor! Hope the conversation goes well! Nice to have someone to rely on when you need to reach out for help or guidance.

  • @chgilmore humidity really is the worst. I lived in a less humid state for a year, and it was amazing how much more comfortable 100+ degree weather felt vs 85 back home.

Unfortunately you can't actually tell much of a difference on camera, our natural light is that bad 😂 but in person, you definitely can. But here are the colors: top is what we're changing to (incredible white), it's a bit less yellow, and a tad darker. In person, both look waaaay lighter. Bottom is what we currently have (dover white). I wanted agreeable gray, but alas, it was just too dark for our house.

@BusinessWife yeah, our walls are super dingy from the dog/feet/etc touching them. Flat paint shows EVERYTHING. 🥴
  • @pajamstagrams finding ways to make it bright - totally get that! the gray looks like a nice cool tone :)
  • @pajamstagrams any white is a better white that does give off a dingy/yellow-y look. A couple years ago we painted most of our garage (didn't get all of the ceiling but that part is the worst ha) and boy did that brighten up the space and made it feel a lot less dirty. We went with basically primer white on all the walls but the one that bumps into the house a little for the entry into the attic. That wall we painted black and then decided we should also paint a strip of black on the back wall that has pegboard for hanging rakes/shovels/etc. Takes up a third of the wall, but when you're trying to cover a bright orange pegboard, white wasn't really cutting it without needing a million layers haha.

@fameonmain2 you O'ed early while I'm over here like where TF are my CHs in FF :D is it the time of year or something?? welcome back!

    Month/Cycle: 5 AL

    CD: 22

WAYDTGKU: gonna HIO 1 more time juuuuust in case, temping, GF/DF diet

R/R: boy has it been a busy day today at work! Didn't exactly help that I scheduled a haircut for 11:30. I got 4 inches cut off! I haven't had my hair this short since 3 years ago. My ends were really gross and dry and just needed to go. Major rave - we have confirmation we are a GO for our electrical panel upgrade tomorrow!! Sadly with my coworker on PTO I couldn't take the day off to be home with DH while the work gets done. My electrical engineer heart might just weep at the sight of a beautifully labeled panel 😭😭

CS/Q: WHERE 👏 IS 👏 MY 👏 TEMP 👏BUMP 👏??? I double checked that wasn't a false surge over the weekend with an OPK this morning and it was hella negative.

  • @inthewoods23 don't you love it when your real life has good engineering too?
Also I'd love to paint our garage brighter, but that would require us to "re-home" the daddy long leg colony that lives there 😂 as someone terrified of spiders, I honestly don't know how I'm not more afraid of them whenever I work out in the garage. But I guess they don't move 🤷‍♀️
  • @inthewoods23 oof, I'm sorry FF is giving you the slip! my temps are a little weird this cycle too, maybe there's something about spring and outside temperature changes that are affecting us? TCOYF (I just read it so it's fresh) says that if you have that fertile CM, you might still be fertile, so that said, an extra baby dance never hurt anyone ;)
  • @pajamstagrams lol daddy long legs are harmless though! I usually hate spiders bit have let a day long legs walk across my hand.

@chgilmore I'm still checking CM and I thought it finally turned back to creamy today but uhhh.... TMI EWCM was dripping out last time I went to the bathroom so that's still hanging around 😐 cervix is still HSO too... good thing my free 25 pack of pregmate OPKs came in the mail the other day so I might do an OPK in the morning until I get my temp bump confirming O JUST to be sure.
