Anyone get pregnant AFTER getting the Moderna vaccine? I am supposed to be vaccinated soon, but also plan to get pregnant within the next year. Any insight is appreciated.

They are currently recommending the vaccine for pregnant people. There isn’t a lot of research for long term effects, but there was recently a case that proved antibodies acquired from the vaccine can be passed to the baby during pregnancy. Obviously do what’s best for you and talk to your doctor though.

Got the shots in Jan/Feb and just found out I’m pregnant in our first month of trying. At the time, I was very worried about any impact the vaccine might have on future pregnancies, but I ultimately decided the immediate protection of my health was worth an unknown/unproven risk. Everyone is going to have their own opinion and come to their own decision on what is right for them, but at least for me and me alone, the shots did not seem to affect our ability to conceive.
