R/R: Our second quote for the backyard went much better! He actually gave the same estimate as the other guy but then showed us a smaller area that would be easier and would cut the costs significantly. It’s still more than DH wanted to spend so I didn’t bring it up all weekend (but made sure we spent plenty of time outside) and by Sunday he said he wanted to go for it. Yay! The guy has to come back today because he didn’t have the right stuff with him to come up with a formal quote but assuming there’s nothing that would make him change his rough estimate we are going to do it. I’m excited and it’s a nice distraction from the BFN that’s hitting me a little harder this morning.

@bows22 sorry about the BFN ❤️  but glad your second quote was better! Do you know when you'd get started with the work, or are you just in planning phase?

R/R: IT is frustrating me this AM. Sometimes I feel like they don't read the chat where I spell out exactly what the problem is because they'll ask "try using your work credentials" right after I told them I tried every possible combo of my work credentials. 🙄🙄 I swear if this is another issue because I changed my name 5 years ago when I got married...idk how it's easier to legally change my name with the government than to have a name change propagate through our work databases. 

CS/Q: nope, but hey! At least my charting and symptoms were very consistent with AF arriving so I was already mentally prepared for a BFN this morning 🤷‍♀️

@pajamstagrams I’m sorry for your BFN too! Even when it’s expected it still sucks. I feel AF coming for me too so we may be heading back to WTO together. When the guy came on Friday he said he was scheduling into July. Today he gave us a couple of different options for materials etc so we are deciding between those and then I think we will schedule. DH doesn’t want our yard to be out of commission for half of the summer so we may see if we can push later or maybe even next spring. It sounds like we have the same IT people haha. I hope you got it resolved by now!

@bows22 I hope you can get some answers next cycle about what might be happening? What kind of work are you having done in the yard? 

@pajamstagrams oh man, your IT department sounds totally useless! I would eye roll so hard if it’s name-change-five-years-ago related! Hope you can figure it out soon.

R/R: I took the day off work yesterday to extend my wonderful weekend and had a perfect “me” day: went and lunched by myself, practiced piano, medicated, acupuncture, and then a piano lesson. I can officially say that I broke the streak of shitty weekends I had been having (skunking, followed by puncturing our friend’s sprinkler system). 

Oh and on Saturday, I was sooooo relaxed, that I actually rocked a nap!!! I’m never able to nap because of anxiety, so this was a welcome surprise.

In other news, my boobs have been hurting so bad from all of the progesterone from my 4 corpus luteums, but it’s getting better today. Hopefully it’s because I’m getting used to it and not because my progesterone is dropping.  

CS/Q: temps have dropped the past 2 days indicating an estrogen surge, but I’m hoping they pick back up tomorrow.

Oh, tags from yesterday:

@keikiloveI use the [email protected] tests that are 20IU sensitivity and Wondfos that are 10IU. Today both are white so no hCG in my body! (Or below the 10IU threshold.)

@bows22 I’m sorry to hear about the bfn, and that it’s hitting harder than usual.😢 On the upside, The yard stuff sounds exciting. What are you having done? 

@pajamstagrams Oh, sorry about your bfn as well.😕Hope the IT guys were finally able to figure out what’s going on with your credentials. No fun! 

@acleverusername Hooray for a relaxing 3-day weekend! So nice that you were even able to take a nap—how glorious.😄 I hope this long weekend coming up feels that way. And again, right there w you in the sore boobs but today is a bit better. I thought it was the hcg trigger? 🤷‍♀️ I had to look at yesterday’s thread to figure out what was meant by the SS BMB EDD mention, as I haven’t given any of the future stuff much energy. Then my immediate thought was, “OMG, Clever & I together would probably bombard that BMB with so many research articles!”🤣

@acleverusername @keikilove we have a sloped backyard and are going to have a section leveled off with a retaining wall. It’s not cheap but I think will be worth it!

@acleverusername your “me day” sounds awesome. Good for you!!
