Dilation and mucus plug.

Hey guys. STM I am 38 weeks and 5 days I am 3cm dilated and lost my mucus plug that was brown, my question is does losing my mucus plug at 3cm mean I have dialted more? Or could I still be at 3cm? I am having alot of cramping just not consistent enough yet.

    Mucus plug can be lost weeks before you go into labour so on its own doesn’t tell you much unfortunately. Contact your provider to get checked if you’re concerned though.
