Hi,

I had a miscarriage at the beginning of February—it was very early on. Think it was a chemical pregnancy. Had a normal period in March, ovulated on the 6/7th and we tried. Started taking progesterone 3 days after since it was low last time. My boobs are sore and I’m fatigued, wondering if this is an early sign of pregnancy or just a side effect of the progesterone—took a test today because I’m impatient but it was negative. Tomorrow is the earliest I can take one but Monday 2/22 is when I’m supposed to start my period. Any ideas?

Progesterone is the worst when it comes to pregnancy-like symptoms, so yeah, it’s almost certain what it is.

I'm so sorry for your loss. And yes-- progesterone is one of the hormones that causes early pregnancy symptoms, and so it's very common for it to make you "feel" pregnant when you are not. 

This board operates a little differently than some others, but it can be a really welcoming place to get support and ask questions while you are TTC. If you want to stick around, you probably will want to do a couple of things:

(1) Change your username to something more memorable
(2) Read the pinned posts at the top of the board to get a sense of tho organization. We tend to discourage one-off posts like this so that the board doesn't get cluttered up. 

Also-- it's against the TOU of this board to ask if you are pregnant, even in a roundabout way. But it's totally fine to come and talk about symptoms, especially in the TTCAL or IF threads where people have been through similar things.
