I’m feeling ok. I’ve had a constant headache/migraine since Friday. I thought I was pasted the 2nd trimester headaches but I guess not. Other than that, acid reflux and hip pain continue. I’ve also been having occasional BHs if I’m too active.
28+0 i want everything in that blue bubble of the Venn diagram!! I struggle to put on socks and I haven’t had a grande latte since this pregnancy started 😭
I continue to have back pain on the right side but I do have a prenatal massage on Wednesday, can’t wait! I had a crazy migraine last week, now I just feel hungry all the time. Baby is very active and kicky in the evenings/nights.
Feeling pretty good, but also feeling huge. I apparently only have a bm once or twice a week these days. Crazy dreams are back! They wake me up and then I can’t got back to sleep because I don’t want to go back to that dream. They aren’t usually nightmares, but they are also not happy fun places that I want to go back and finish.
having issues with hemrrhoids but I sent a message to my dr about maybe taking magnesium supplements. I’ve heard it’s good for mood/insomnia and constipation so maybe that will help. Also having a lot of foot pain but I don’t think it’s pregnancy related. But I’m gonna ask one of the providers I work with to look at it because working all day and then trying to walk has been really painful lately.
Mostly doing ok, main issue is that I get tired so dang easily. DST this weekend didn't help at all, but I get worn out doing the simplest things and can barely get my normal errands/chores done. Also have some back pain, most of which I think is sciatica, but so far not feeling too much of it today.
@remi1014 my feet randomly start hurting in pregnancy. With my first my left ankle started hurting so bad I thought I had injured it somehow. I broke it when I was 13 and pregnancy made it randomly start hurting again. I also got plantar fasciitis in my first pregnancy. Walking was so painful unless I wore these couple pairs of flip flops. Pregnancy does weird things to our bodies.
@kristah2 what kind of iron supplement are you taking? My doctor recommended the liquid form to ease constipation and also to drink OJ or eat something with lots of vitamin C when I take it.
@remi1014@klj0228 do you have high arches? With my previous pregnancies my arches started to fall around this time, and then firmed up again after delivery. Arch supports help, and so do exercises for plantar fasciitis. It sucks, I'm sorry you're having that.
How far along are you? 24+6
What symptoms are your experiencing this week? How are you feeling? Still exhausted, heartburn is starting so thankful for tums! Starting to feel very full after only a little bit of food, feels like it's too early for that already!
Feeling alright. The other night I was really nauseous with diarhea but that seems to have passed now yay. Been still having alot of backaches daily, leg pain from my vericose veins, some diziness last week here and there and like many others here pain sleeping at night. Also, been having some crazy dreams too and peeing alot.
I’m forcing myself to drink more water than I have been. I needed to be drinking more anyway but for some reason I just don’t want water unless it’s super ice cold. My acid reflux seems to be responding to the pepcid well so that’s nice. Otherwise I’m mainly just tired from not being able to sleep well and having trouble falling back asleep when I wake up to pee.
@mindyb2019 I’m also having some wild dreams. I had one the other night where I had an accidental vaginal delivery... I showed up at the hospital and when I got on the table for my RCS he was already out.
@akoros DST killed us over here too. DS wouldn’t go to bed at all and didn’t fall asleep til almost 930 (normally he is asleep by 815-830) but he sure woke up at his normal time. We were exhausted.
@_orchid_ I’ve had to cut back to smaller more frequent meals now because of that. I get so hungry and my eyes are too big for my stomach. I would fix some food and only be able to eat like half. My OB said I’m measuring ahead by fundal height but that’s likely due to the bicornuate uterus. He’s legit already in my ribs.
@_orchid_ yes I do have high arches and I think that I’m not wearing the right shoes right now because I got slip on memory foam ones so that I don’t have to bend over to tie them and I feel like my foot wanders around too much. I just wanted shoes I could quick get on and this is what I get. Ugh
edited to add that it’s only in my right foot, not my left.
Are any of you taking magnesium? I sent a message to my OB asking about it and she says it crosses the placenta so she recommends just doing higher fiber, a stool softener and exercise.
@kristah2 I was taking tums consistently every day and it only helped for maybe 30 mins to an hour unless I was sitting straight up. Bedtime was terrible because I’d be mostly flat (even propped up on pillows). My OB put me on Pepcid AC (otc) so I take that now and it’s helped a lot.
@remi1014 that's strange that it's only in one foot! Maybe bring it up to your Dr just in case at the next appointment? I've only been wearing tie on sneakers this time (I leave them tied or have dh do it) and it's been much better. I think spending most of this year barefoot has strengthened my feet too.
@AKuzReve I've never full out peed either but the other day I was running around in the yard with DS1 and did a full sprint to get to a soccer ball before him and completely peed my pants 😂 usually when I exercise I have a support belt on and I guess it makes a big difference for bladders too!
Got a call from my hematologist today and she wants me to come in for an iron infusion so I guess a symptom right now is anemia? I'm wondering if it's why I'm so worn out all the time.
28+1. Everything hurts. I also can’t eat much anymore and no food ever really sounds good unless it’s something I’m craving which doesn’t happen very often at this point.
I used a magnesium lotion at bedtime, I think for 8Sheep Organics. I lather my belly and calves up. Belly to hopefully help with BH and calves to help with morning Charlie horses.

@remi1014 I started having hemorrhoids a couple of months ago, but this pelvic floor physical therapist highly encouraged me to get a squatty potty. No joke - game changer. I have not had any issues since (knock on wood!!!). I even was able to stop taking Metamucil. If you haven’t tried one yet, I would 100% endorse trying one!
@akoros have you tried handing your husband the hemorrhoid cream, asking him to apply it FOR you, and then seeing if he still refuses to get the squatty potty? 😜😜 Feel free to share my recommendation as well to see if that helps? Hopefully he gets on board! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
@kfc1983 I thankfully don't have hemorroids (yet), but perhaps I should pretend I do so I can use that approach. I've also heard that postpartum BMs can be difficult. I've also debated getting a "travel" one that collapses so I can fold it away. I don't know why he's so against it, he's typically not squeamish but it totally freaks him out.
@mindyb2019 that diagram is SO ACCURATE, it’s crazy. Lol!!
28 + 2 today. Feeling pretty good, driving home from being on vacay with my hubby and kids for spring break (ah hem, TRIP, not vacation - a vacation is child free 🤣). We are about four hours from home and we’re driving back for my 3:15 checkup and glucose test. I had two donut holes and some cereal this morning, oops. I don’t need to fast but they did say to avoid a lot of sugar. Hopefully I didn’t have too much. I didn’t have GD with my other three kids so I’m not *too* worried but I still don’t want to fail the one hour and then be stuck doing the three hour just for a couple donut holes. They weren’t worth it, lol!!
Feeling pretty good otherwise, I do have a ton of pelvic pain which I haven’t experienced this badly before. So I’m guessing it’s SPD, but I’m going to bring it up today at my appt. I had some terrible period like cramps last night that actually had me worried for a bit, I’ve been on my feet a lot while out of town so hoping that was it. 🤞🏻

Feeling pretty good other than super sharp sciatica (I’m guessing) pain. It gets worse through out the day until I can’t put any weight on my left leg without a shock of pain.
I’ve been trying acupuncture for my back aches and it’s been AMAZING. I don’t know if it’s the placebo effect or what, but I wake up feeling so much better.
Some continued pelvic discomfort on my left side when doing certain exercises, my left foot is swelling a bit, and feeling large but otherwise better than with DS1.
If anyone is looking for an iron supplement, I take MegaFood’s Blood Builder and I’ve never had any side effects!
Also, I don’t have hemorrhoids but I love the squatty potty. I even have the travel one 🙈
28 weeks or is it 27 🤔 I saw the pelvic floor therapist on Monday and I’ve got a couple exercises to do. She also helped me with some breathing exercises that are helping when I’m feeling a lot of pressure. Hopefully the exercises help and I’ll start feeling better, although I’m really not feeling *that* bad, I’m just very sensitive and I want to be very careful with taking care of my pelvic floor. She recommended I get compression leggings so I’ve been looking into those if anyone has any recommendations!
Feeling pretty good. I took Monday - Wednesday off from work to use up vacation and work on the nursery. I was tired and more sore those days from all the moving around and work vs sitting on my computer for emails and Zoom meetings all day. If I don't use my pregnancy pillow, my hip gets really sore after a few hours. Overall, I feel like I am doing pretty well for less than 11 weeks to go. Typical soreness, occasional aches and pain. My feet swell if I don't drink enough water or I am standing or walking around for too long. I feel like overall I am very lucky and things are par for the course for early in the thirst trimester.

And the last few days I’ve been getting a random sharp pain in my lower left side. It lasts a few seconds then goes away for a few more minutes before coming back again. It’ll do that off and on and then I’ll be good for 12-24 hours and it’ll start again. Super strange.
28+5 Feeling okay these days, actually better than okay. I'm adjusting to the pelvic pain and have been seeing a chiropractor weekly to help. Insomnia is still getting me at times but I'm starting to improve a bit. Overall, that is it.
I'm still in disbelief that this is all happening in less than 12 weeks.

I am with the others on the hip pain. I swear it gets worse every pregnancy. Also some acid reflux and heartburn
