Don't know how unpopular it will be among these parts, but I really like Trader Joe's gluten free bagels. As a native NYer, I am very particular about bagels and these are really good. Even better than the gluten free bagels our local bagel shop offers, and they were ranked the # 1 bagel by New York Magazine. (I think it's because they don't make the GF ones in-house.)
  • @fifilala516 YUM. We just tried GF oreos yesterday and they're so good, don't even taste the difference.

UO: Pineapple on pizza is delish.

  • @misspricklepantsi am pro pineapple on pizza.
  • @fifilala516 those sound good! I'm not really GF but I some of the GF foods are delish - like GF brownies?!?!?! *chef'f kiss*
@misspricklepants it's such a good flavor especially with the ham! (or prosciutto, or salami....mmmmm)

@chgilmore my sister in law has celiac, and is also dairy-free. She makes the most DELICIOUS doughnuts and you'd never know they're gluten- and dairy-free.

ETA I want to bake now but we're out of propane and I can't use the oven until it comes  I guess I could bake small batches in the toaster oven but that would be super tedious. maybe this weekend.

The Trader Joe's GF Oreos are so good too!

I will have to respectfully disagree with you re: pineapple on pizza. But I do like mushrooms on mine...
  • @fifilala516 I don't have anything in mind, but there are definitely some store brand things that are way better than the mainstream/most popular brand.

@misspricklepants we get pineapple on our pizza every time! YUM. What even is the argument that pineapple doesn't belong on pizza? That it's too sweet? Because those people better not be eating dessert pizzas!

  • i don't get the cult following of schitt's creek. i'm very late to the party, i'm on season 2. it's not bad. i just don't think its epic the way some do.
  • @anniemarie887 I agree. (also on season 2). I like it, and I'll occasionally watch an episode or 2 at a time, but I have no desire to binge it.
  • @anniemarie887 @pajamstagrams whoaaaaaa disagree. But I didn’t really get super into it until mid season 2!

I don't think the show is funny, like, at all. I find Dan Levy very irritating.
  • Lol @Lisa3379 The legs are trying to be 90s, but the waist is so 70's!!!  That's a very special pair of pants right there.
  • @Lisa3379 now I love a good high waisted pant (she types as she wears skinny jeans up to her bellybutton). But these are horrible. *Cringeeee* the front pleats! The illusion of a saggy, flat a$$ (I know that model has a booty in there!) So unflattering. @BusinessWife an apt description, thank you for that 😂

The question is, does gen Z like this? Because it's high waisted and I thought that was uncool. 🤔
  • @chgilmore😂 Great question!

Unfortunately, this hideous jeans style has been gracing the streets of NYC for at least the last 5 years.

Anyone live there and secretly rock these grandma pants without telling us?😉

Hahah I do not live in NYC but def have Levi’s wedgie jeans which def hark back to the 90s mom jean. high waisted for life here, I love a good skinny jean but am all for wide leg and trouser-y fits as well. What I can’t get behind are bike shorts. Definitely traumatized from my youth with I oversized t shirts, bike shorts, and high top converse - basically a gen z wet dream when it comes to “fashion”
  • @anniemarie887 @fifilala516 I have never watched the show and have no plans to.  Glad to hear others think I may not be missing much!  Call me old fashioned, but I just find the name of the show utterly distasteful.  I can just about imagine I'd be horrified of the content.

  • @anniemarie887 woah now, don't hate on my bike shorts. I re-discovered them last summer and it's life changing. NO MORE CHAFE. Working out is so much more pleasant, especially in the summer.
  • @pajamstagrams my logic is just wear yoga pants!
  • @anniemarie887 🤯 not when it's 95 outside and 85% humidity!! 😱
  • @Lisa3379 it's almost JNCO jeans all over again!
