@emmis_louise I was obsessed with information during my first pregnancy. I literally couldn’t think about anything else! This time is more like, meh...I’m having that second cup of coffee 😂
@emmis_louise I actually feel like the third trimester snuck up on my pretty quickly with my first pregnancy, but I think a lot of that had to do with the fall and winter holidays keeping me pretty busy and distracted during my second trimester. I think first tri can feel slower when you're eager for the first ultrasound and to be able to share the news and I agree with @magmcg0604 the third tri can DRAG because you're ready to have your body back and to hold your baby in your arms!
@kbonita285 oh my gosh, maybe twins! One of my BFFs has 8 month old twin boys and another one of our friends is 20 wks with twins...it’s her first pregnancy but her husband has 2 already and they just adopted 2 other kids, so they will have 6 total 😳

@sliztee My husband and I got each other cards for valentines day but never actually gave them to each other. I would be perfectly content to make a pact to not buy cards or gifts for holidays - I hate the pressure to remember and go buy stuff
@emmis_louise OMG I feel the same way!! This is my first pregnancy and I just want a cute baby bump and to be able to feel baby move!!
@kbonita285 Whoa girl!! Maybe twins! Are you excited? Anxious? Upset?

How are you feeling?: good to fine depending on the time of day. Mostly just tired. I seem to get mildly nauseated after lunch which is so different from my previous pregnancy.
Rants/Raves: No real rants at the moment other than I can’t sleep. As for raves, my new car has massaging seats and I never knew I needed such a thing in my life.
Questions: Anyone have cute ways to tell previous only children that they are going to have a sibling? Like good books or something like that. He just turned 3 for reference.
GTKY: how long have you and your partner been together? 7.5 years and married 5.5 years. Anniversary is beginning of September, we didn’t do anything this past year, so I’m hoping we can squeeze a trip or something in this year before the new one comes.
@Starynightsky24 thank you, I’ll look for it. He’s not really into Daniel Tiger for some reason though. I was looking at books online this morning when I couldn’t go back to sleep.
@mkp0903 I recommend the Daniel Tiger book too! We read it all the time and my 2.5 year old seems to remember details better from the book.
@KNB1027 Thankfully, Jeff and I just do Christmas and birthday gifts. But THIS year, we might take a trip for our anniversary after we get vaccinated. I have such a strong itch to travel after a year of quarantine and limited time before we’re back in the zombie world of having a newborn! 🙌🏼
@mkp0903 my DD is only 22 months so much younger than your DS but we bought a big sister book (I dont remember the exact name right now) that just talks about all the ways she can help out when the baby comes and it is so cute! She loves it and asks us to read it to her constantly.

@eggsandwich2019 I'm so jealous about your covid vaccine! I'm ready to get it asap!
My doc wants me to wait until I'm in the second tri because of my early loss history. I'm hoping all those studies they've been doing will come out and she'll just tell me to go ahead and get it 😆
@emmis_louise I was obsessed with information during my first pregnancy. I literally couldn’t think about anything else! This time is more like, meh...I’m having that second cup of coffee 😂
Yep that's totally me right now haha. It's consuming me. Although when I'm busy at work it's a good distraction. But I am constantly researching and reading books in my spare time!
I got my second covid vaccination yesterday. I got the first before I knew I was pregnant. I went ahead with it after talking to my gyn and my cousin (who is also an obgyn resident).
