@claireloSC I have to consciously avoid the street that our local cupcake shop is on otherwise a half dozen cupcakes end up at my house 🤷🏻♀️ They are so yum though 🤣
Yum. Garlic bread sounds delicious! I totally ate the rest of my/DS's birthday cake while he was napping yesterday. There was maybe a quarter of the cake left 🙈.
@surrenderdorothy within the next 6-8 weeks. They were going to get him in on Thursday but the person they expected to cancel ended up confirming their appointment.
I shouldn’t have come to this thread.. now all I want is cupcakes and sour patch kids!! I got my 2nd dose of vaccine today (Pfizer). I’m about 13 hours out and no reaction yet...
My wife got Pfizer and had no side effects from first dose. I got Moderna and spent the next day in bed with a migraine, but well worth it. We'll see how second doses go!

Kiddo is home again today with a cold, but I’m still working (while he watches a million episodes of the Magic School Bus). And I swear that today has lasted at least 16 hours already. It has been the humpiest hump day and I feel like we’re not even over the hump yet. 😩
Hi friends, sorry I’ve been MIA! DH is once again dealing with crazy work issues and I’m scrambling to hold down the fort as essentially a single parent. We are also having work don’t in my house my kitchen and living room are all ripped up. All this to say it has been a stressful few days.
I’m excited to see all the vaccine posts! 🎉 I get my second dose on the 15th. My mom and in-laws are fully vaccinated! My mom is coming to visit later this month and my in laws are surprising DH for his bday in April. I am so excited. I feel like there is light at the end of this nightmare.
We got news from our health minister that every one in BC should get our first dose of the vaccine by July. I hope they allow pregnant women to get it, I'd like to have some protection for baby on board 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 I know that in US you guys are allowed but they haven't said much about it in Canada.
got vaccine #2 two days ago. felt bad that first night and all yesterday with chills/ sweats/ headache/ fatigue and arm super sore. but feel back to normal today (i have had some degree of headache for the past 2 months, but that was a bad one). happy to have it over with and hoping that all MS symptoms now start to go away and its a good few months!! this morning i decided that i'm going to try to get a little bit put together now that its finally starting to warm up and we can at least go for some walks outside!! it felt good to put on some concealer under my eyes, i feel like a new human, lol
I'm glad things are on the up and up @litzi-2! I'm dying to wear makeup too but with this eczema I don't want to put anything on my face until it's all gone. 😫 Did you get Moderna or a different one?

@claireloSC i got the pfizer. but i think i would have reacted to any of them, i even feel sick after the flu shot some years. ugh, sorry about the eczema. that stinks, hopefully it clears up soon!
I saw a video where they were making a cheesesteak sandwich with cheese whiz.... I can’t stop thinking about it. I don’t think I’ve even had one before!
@dancingnarwhal I was just lurking WTE and saw a post you made about thr bump community not being accessible by app. I exclusively use the app! Maybe it's just on Samsung. Admittedly it did take me a very long time to find where it hides.
@doodlemom131 - I just figured out how to access the community on the app a couple days ago lol it is so hidden. I’m glad I figured it out though, it didn’t work especially well using the internet browser on my phone.
@doodlemom131 I used the app exclusively as well until recently when the app will not let me comment despite being logged in. I really hate this platform. Already looking forward to the eventual migration to something else!
Re: Weekly Randoms 3/1
They are so yum though 🤣
It sounds like they will just remove my dad's thyroid and no further treatment will be needed! Thank you all for your kind words 🥰
