@disgruntled_pelican I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having Margaret and Margot, especially since they won’t see each other super often!
@mc0303 That’s so great about WFH and being close to family! Hopefully the relocation isn’t too painful.
@AKuzReve Yay for househunting but sorry the market is so crazy, hopefully you can find something soon. Do you have a buyer’s agent that can help you find places before they hit the market?
@kfc1983 I stopped weighing myself because there’s no point, at this point the baby is gaining weight so we have to gain weight.
@ramfam2507 That’s super cute for your oldest to get to help with the name! I “named” my little brother (not really but 2 year old me wanted to name him the same thing as my best friend’s little brother and coincidentally that was my dad’s name too and they were going to name him that no matter what).
@laurad75 The movement is the best. This one is so much more active than my A18!

@disgruntled_pelican I think my "second tri magic" lasted about a week. In all fairness I can't complain, as the 1st tri wasn't *that* rough for me, but I was looking forward to more energy before I felt like a whale.
@mc0303 So exciting! Welcome (back) to the East Coast!
@AKuzReve Not sure if this is thing over there, but could you find a buyers' agent who has a lot of connections to the neighborhood(s) you like? The market is also crazy here, so a friend of ours found an agent who specializes in the tiny area they liked and was able to get them pre-market showings. That's ultimately how they found their house, it was never actually listed openly on the market, just went straight to contract. That said, I've heard they're trying to crack down on this practice as it's not really fair.
@kfc1983 I feel like the weight all came on super suddenly, too. It's scary, but trying to not let it bother me. That said, it's hard to do so when we're so calibrated to think "weight up = bad". It helps to focus more on nutrition, so that you know you're being healthy and can more easily try to dismiss the actual number.
If you know you are taking care of yourself then there is nothing to worry about. It's ridiculous that even pregnant we are still so focused on the scale.

@mc0303 that’s so exciting, where are you going to move to?
@AKuzReve good luck on the house hunt!
@ramfam2507 that’s exciting that your sister is pregnant too, what name did they pick?
@laurad75 I’m also craving sugar like crazy. Sorry that your husband is being annoying.

@MelissaMay82 they picked Amora. All I can think about is Gamora, the green chick from avengers/guardians of the galaxy 🤭
@mc0303 congrats on the move! You are timing it right too- this winter was a Winter! And you'll be back in the land of Wawas!!!
@AKuzReve that must be such a relief to have that decision made! GL house hunting!!
@ramfam2507 yup I'd definitely be thinking Gamora all the time
@legallykate I hope this week is better work wise and mental health wise! And that you can get your second dose asap!!
@ellieemc26 good call on the insurance for pump! I need to call mine soon. Interesting about the pre-registration, i haven't heard of that before. Hopefully HR can help!
@ramfam2507 Amora?? 🤨 oook. Lol reminds me of Sodom and Gomorrah from the Bible. Sorry lol 🤭
@_orchid_ GIRL. Don’t even get me started with how excited I am to be close to WaWa!!! Hahaha it’s all I can think about. It’ll probably be my post-birth meal
@laurad75, with you on the weight thing. As long as baby is healthy, that is the most important factor.
Thank you all for the house hunting luck! @akoros and @legallykate, we are trying to find one now with insider access but the process here is super weird. Hopefully we can find one though and until then, try to be super quick about contacting places for viewings. We have 1 on Tuesday and will bid on Wednesday, if we like it. So FX it works out.

@mc0303 Very exciting about the move! I hope everything goes smoothly! And yes, Wawa alone will make the move worth it!
@AKuzReve good luck with the house hunt!
@kfc1983 I believe is very common for their to be spike in weight. The Bump says "When you’re 25 weeks pregnant, weight gain can be a source of anxiety. We know, we know, we’ve been telling you to gain slowly and steadily, but it’s also really common for the number on your scale to jump around during this time in the second trimester. Part of that may be due to the amount of water weight pregnant women put on in mid-pregnancy. And realistically, gaining the exact same amount of weight each week just isn’t going to happen—there are naturally going to be some fluctuations." I know your not 25 weeks, yet, but I'm sure this fluctuation happens throughout the second trimester.
@ramfam2507 At least they didn't pick Garmora...?
@laurad75 Yes, craving all the sugar!
@legallykate I hope you can get your second vaccine soon!
@Maggie1202 Try not to sweat the weight gain. Maybe trying to monitor what you eat for sodium or try small sips of water throughout the day so you don't get sick?
@akoros good luck with the DMV!
@MelissaMay82 Home improvement is the best! Enjoy!
@sgrn18 10 weeks to go! So exciting!
@ellieemc26 Have you tried sleeping with pillows for support? With DS, the second trimester was when I needed to start sleeping with a pillow between my knees.
@_orchid_ I'm impressed you can still hide the bump. I can't conceal mine!
@mindyb2019 I am glad you are feeling better emotionally. I hope all of your appointments go well next week.

Rave- I can still eat my favorite pasta dish despite having GD.
I just want to go to Florida with my gal pals like I had planned on before covid ruined everything lol
@mindyb2019 glad you are feeling better!! I've been waking up on my back a lot at night and have felt ok, but last night every time I rolled on my back I immediately had to pee so I think those days are over
@ruemcclanahan sorry you are feeling down. This time is so hard with covid, winter ending, and just so much uncertainty about the future. Hope you are feeling less sad soon.
@ruemcclanahan so sorry your feeling sad and down. Thats been me lately too and so I totally get it. Hang in there girl. Sending you hugs 😘
