Previous loss(es)? TFMR @22 weeks for genetic reason, one CP
How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? Intermittently quite nauseous, but overall mainly anxious.
Any appointment updates? US and OB intake a week from tomorrow. I simultaneously can’t wait because I want to see an intrauterine pregnancy and a heartbeat, but also in case something is wrong I want to have my unawareness of it last longer.
Rants/Raves/Questions? What are you all doing to deal with pregnancy anxiety? I have started doing some pregnancy yoga for anxiety on YouTube, and I like one of the mantras she used “My body is healthy and strong, my baby is healthy and happy”
Any milestones coming up? We found out about my first pregnancy right after Valentine’s Day. That was also pre-COVID and just such a happy time.
GTKY: What is your go-to comfort food? Kraft dinner AKA Kraft macaroni and cheese. It is the best!
Weeks/EDD/How many times a mom? Not sure yet, I have 3 girls
Previous loss(es)? One loss at 9 weeks, in 2017
How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? Physically fine, emotionally I’m so anxious.
Any appointment updates? My first appt is on the 22nd, can’t come soon enough!

GTKY: What is your go-to comfort food? Pizza or French fries
Previous loss(es)? 1 at 11 weeks this past August.
How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? Excited and nervous- alternating between not wanting to be too invested because I’m afraid of another loss and trying to not let the loss affect me and just enjoy the pregnancy. Physically pretty good mostly just tired. (Also tender boobs and constantly having to pee).
Any appointment updates? I was seeing an RE so I have a confirmation ultrasound on Friday, which I never had with my miscarriage. It kinda feels like it’s not real yet that I’m pregnant until I actually see it on the ultrasound.

GTKY: What is your go-to comfort food? Carbs- Bread (esp garlic bread), chips(esp nachos), pasta (esp Mac & cheese).
Previous loss(es)? A missed miscarriage at 6ish weeks that I found out about at my 8 week appointment in June 2020 and an early loss at 4+3 in October 2020.
How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? I’ve been feeling physically awful because of really bad nausea and vomiting. But that mentally made me feel good because I felt like my pregnancy was healthy. I just started taking B6 + Unisom and today I’m feeling a lot better. Mild nausea and no throwing up. So of course mentally I’m a wrecking... is it the meds or am I losing another baby? I can’t get my head straight.
Any appointment updates? First appt is March 4th, I’ll be 8 1/2 weeks
Rants/Raves/Questions?
Any milestones coming up? I’m coming up to 6 weeks when is about when I had my first loss. They guesstimated 6 weeks of development. It’s going to be really hard getting from there to my appointment.
GTKY: What is your go-to comfort food? Ohh all the things. Chocolate. Potato chips. But my biggest comfort food is PASTA. Cheesy, saucey PASTA. I could really go for some pasta right now.
5 weeks tomorrow! 10/17 and 3rd time ❤️

Physically, tired but it’s also late 😂 emotionally, it hasn’t truly hit yet. It doesn’t feel real.

At 8 weeks I can do a sneak peak gender test!
GTKY: What is your go-to comfort food?
3-4 weeks, I ovulated late so I'm not totally sure. I have 1 living son.
Previous loss(es)?
I had twins in 2016, my daughter was stillborn. There wasn't any real reason for it, she just stopped growing at 19 weeks and was too small for life saving intervention. I tried everything I could think of, drinking ensure, eating high protein, etc. All my Dr's told me it wouldn't actually help anything but I couldn't just do nothing.
How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically?
Physically I feel fine. Pretty much exactly like I felt last time. Really tired, but not sick or uncomfortable at all. We'll see I guess.
Any appointment updates?
I live in Central TX and we're in the middle of this polar vortex thing so my whole city is pretty much shut down. I haven't been able to make an appointment but probably won't be able to get one until 6 weeks, in 2-3 weeks from now.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
Nothing right now, just riding the high of a BFP and the lows of PGAL terror.

GTKY: What is your go-to comfort food?
SOUP. Any soup!
I had a MMC in October 2020. At 8 week appointment I saw heartbeat but was measuring 7w5d but OB didn’t mention any worry. At 11 week appointment I found out the baby stopped growing at 7w6d. I then had a weird situation after where I either got pregnant again before having a period or had enough RPOC from the original D&C where it found a blood supply and my body thought I was pregnant again. Either way, HCG over 2 weeks didn’t rise correctly (barely double over 2 weeks) so whatever happened wasn't viable and I had another D&C.
I think it never hurts to ask your OB for an extra checkup- the worst that can happen is they say no!
I had 3 first trimester losses in a row, so after our 2nd loss we had switched to a specialist (reproductive endocrinologist) so we were with them up to 10 weeks with my son and this pregnancy. They did an ultrasound weeks 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 before discharging me to my regular OB. I still had a lot of lasting anxiety with my son though since I hadn’t yet carried to term and my OB was SO nice and said I could come in as often as I needed for Doppler checks for reassurance. Of course the receptionists were a pain about it but the doctor was fine with it. PGAL is so hard and OBs should be empathetic to that- the good ones are in my experience!
I would definitely call your OB to see if you can get a quick US? I’m sure if you are able to explain to your doctor your fears about this pregnancy given your history they should be accommodating. IMHO your OB shouldn’t deny that because you have gone through a lot of trauma with past pregnancies and a lot of stress and fear can be alleviated so easily with a 10 min appointment.
With DD I had and US and 2 NT tests every week from 13 weeks on (SUA and HG) and because of early bleeding and HG with this one I’ve had an US at 3.5, 4-8, and 10 weeks.
