I’m just hanging out today being lazy. Tomorrow I have to work (only day this week). Wednesday I have my anatomy scan #2. I already did my Whole Foods and hannaford orders to pick up on Wednesday. I planned out the apps/dinner for the Super Bowl, it will just be the 3 of us but I want to make it fun!
@MelissaMay82 whatcha making for super bowl?? We don’t watch football but love the party food 😆
AFM, my in-laws were over yesterday and I’m still trying to recover. It’s seriously getting harder to see them the more pregnant I get...the more annoyed I get 😂
@mc0303 I’m making chicken wings (soy sauce based marinade and baked), Buffalo chicken dip in then crockpot, kielbasa (with mustard brown sugar) in the crockpot, and chips and dip. We love football and I’m excited that the buccs are playing!
I need one pair of maternity jeans that I like and am comfortable in. I prefer a bootcut as I have one pair of ankle length jeans for when it warms up some. I have one pair from my first pregnancy, but they are not comfortable and fit weird.
I’m working from home tomorrow, which will be nice. We came to my parents mountain house for the weekend to play in the snow and will be here until tomorrow afternoon. I work so much these days it will be nice to be up here working instead of inside the hospital.
@klj0228 that sounds like an awesome weekend away. I have 1 pair of maternity skinny jeans, they fit kind of weird but I think I’ll just wear them. I also have a bunch of LuLaRoe black leggings that I wear out.
We got our first good snow in two+ years today (and first one since we moved into our home). It was so fun seeing the joy on DS's face as he caught snowflakes on his tongue and threw snowballs at his bestie.
@MelissaMay82 - so funny! We don't watch football but we always make the Super Bowl food. We have two of your same menu items - chicken wings (on sale at Whole Foods this week for 89c a pound!!), and buffalo chicken dip! We are also doing Skinnytaste air fryer bacon wrapped jalapeños and some mega processed cheese stuffed pretzels from the frozen section at Aldi. Lol.
AFM, not much in the random department....just trying to work this week on getting my 9 year old moved into the playroom. We have a four bedroom house, but the 4th "bedroom" is pretty small and right off the kitchen nook....but it's going to have to do for now and we are moving him in there so that all three of my boys don't have to share a room. But, the playroom has gone almost untouched for the last almost 8 years that we have lived here, so there was a LOT to clean out. And I have to de-playroom it, paint it, get a new rug, etc. It's very...BRIGHT...right now. LOL. It looks like a preschool threw up in there!
22 week appointment on Wednesday! I'm scared to see how much weight that I have put on

I don’t want to bump the last Randoms but thank you for the kind words on my son’s allergic reaction. He has 10+ food allergies now and it would be nice if some would go away instead of more appearing.
All this Super Bowl food sounds so good! I don’t do it now but when I was in Canada, I’d make a whole spread even if I didn’t watch football (I used to watch and loved it but stopped).
I am sad that it’s Monday again. My H has a huge thing to finish today so kiddo and I will probably go for a walk or to the park. Or maybe I’ll have him help me fold the mound of laundry piling up. 🤔 monday is usually my day that I put laundry away.
I forgot the Superbowl was this weekend!! You guys are inspiring me to start making the menu for commercial watching!! Buffalo chicken sauce sounds good right now, but not the chicken 😂
We need to come up with something to do for the super bowl too! We normally have a party, but obviously that's out this year.
We had a really productive day yesterday and moved the extra furniture out of the former guest room/soon to be nursery. I need to start working on painting next and then we can start getting the room organized which is very exciting! We also took down our outdoor xmas lights and then it was such an unseasonably nice day (mid-60's) that we went out for lunch on a patio. We ended the day with a family zoom call to talk with a cousin of mine who is due to have her first baby in the next couple weeks. All in all a nice, active day. As an aside, I actually slept the best I have in ages last night. It got me wondering if my insomnia issues are less pregnancy related and more related to just a general lack of stimulation in my day to day life due to all this covid-related isolation.
@ellieemc26 could be! I've found I have a hard time sleeping at night if I don't spend enough time outside each day. Even just 30 minutes helps. Going to be hard today- we're getting 2 feet of snow and I am not shoveling lol.
Well we are not Super Bowl people but, wow! Your menus sound incredible! I'll take my invite whenever
AFM, we have a big day tomorrow! We are getting a little gate installed in the walkway of our condo that we ordered in OCTOBER!!! (Thanks a lot COVID) AND we are getting the rest of our new furniture delivered tomorrow, including the day bed for the nursery, meaning we can figure out how much space is left over for a dresser and bookcase.

I know it's still pretty early BUT I was at Target today and noticed they have a deal going until 2/6- purchase $100 in diapers/wipes/formula and get a $20 gift card. Thought I'd pass the info on for those who are interested. I know some of us are still working our way past milestones and might not be ready for that yet.
The (fantastic) restaurant we went to for our anniversary dinner has started a sandwich pop-up during the day, so we're getting fancy-ish sandwiches delivered for lunch! Just noticed that the description of my burger says it's 24oz....wondering if that's true...I might fall asleep in my 1pm meeting
Edit: App scraped the description a bit incorrectly, it was "two 4oz patties", not 24oz! It wasn't any more expensive than the other sandwiches (which are all 6-7oz), and a far more reasonable amount of food. Might still fall asleep...
I’m trying out pickling for the first time today. I got some cucumbers and green beans, I’ll also put spices, garlic cloves, and dill into the mason jars.
Random question but has anyone else lost their in-box for private messages on the bump app?? My inbox was always in the same place and now the button or link for it has completely disappeared for like over a month now. Now sure why or what happened to it or how I get it back??
@MelissaMay82 My H pickles everything. Let me know if you have any questions. I believe he is starting a batch tonight.

@MelissaMay82 Have fun! It's been a while (I think I mostly did peppers, green beans, and carrots), but I remember having fun with home pickling. Of late I've gotten lazy and mostly opt for quick or refrigerator pickling, particularly things like shallots or red onions (amazing on tacos and sandwiches)
@ashaislurking I love that deal. A couple weeks ago my target had it spend $100 and get a $30 gift card. I didn’t even need diapers but I bought some and used the gift card for DS2’s birthday present!
@mindyb2019 I think someone over on TTGP was having a similar issue and posted about it in randoms. Maybe lurk over there and see if that helps you out? I don't use the app so I'm of pretty much no use there.
guys. I got a hotel tonight. 10 min from home. 16 hours to my self to do what I want, when I want. And sleeeeeeep until my body says it’s time to wake for the day (or to pee).
So far I have eaten Taco Bell and caught up on 2 episodes of Zoey’s Extraordinary Play List and played on my phone. All guilt free.
Now. I’m going to binge watch The Magicians until I feel like going to sleep 🙌🏼
Oh. Also. My DD felt the baby kick her today. First time felt outside the body. She thought it was so cool. She’s 4... so naturally thought he was trying to come out 😂
@angelz429 I am GREEN with envy right now!! I am an introvert in a house full of extroverts and that's been the most exhausting part of the last year!! Enjoy your time and taco bell!!
@angelz429. Omg that is better than any baby moon. In fact this should be a must to all pregnant women (especially with kids at home already) for a night or two. I’m jealous AF right now lol
