I'm 6 weeks 3 days and my hubs has been awesome about keeping up with the housework so I don't have to. I've been tired and nauseated, but nothing super extreme. This morning I got up to go take a shower to see if that might help settle my stomach and realized how nasty it was. I poured in some Bar Keeper's Friend and scrubbed. The used Softscrub and scrubbed, then sprayed it with bleach and opened a window....and basically started gasping. I walked out and basically fell on the couch, I was burning up, my heart was pounding, I was dizzy. I ate some carbs and felt a little better, but I...am...wiped. Still dizzy and feeling a little weak.
Is this all from scrubbing a tub for 20 min? Has anyone had something like this happen? I'll be avoiding chemicals from here out, but I didnt think the fumes were very strong until I got to the bleach and immediately opened a window like I normally do. Our whole day is pretty shot at this point, I'm a little freaked out by how drastic this was. No cramps or bleeding though. Thanks in advance.

You probably had a reaction to mixing chemicals, and it had absolutely nothing to do with pregnancy. You may want to call poison control or a doctor.
Thank you, but I didn't actually mix them, I just do it in stages, rinsing after each. We have an old house with the original cast iron tub that's due for a refinishing, so it's a nightmare to clean. I've done this many times before without adverse reactions.
