Testing: Nope, not even wanting to, which is new.

R/R: I have a meeting today with my boss to discuss the compensation plan and I’m very nervous about it. I’m generally quite frustrated that they either “accidentally” forgot to up my target (which reduces my salary), or did it on purpose because they think I’ll be taking maternity leave this year (which is both illegal, and based on my history statistically unlikely) and won’t hit the target so they can pay me less. I really hate that I have a tendency to cry when I get frustrated in any interaction with an authority figure, so I’m really just hoping I can keep my cool and get my salary up to what it should be. 

CS/Q: I slept poorly and had vivid dreams all night (which I almost never have, but probably related to anxiety about the meeting today), so I thought temp would be high, but it is weirdly low. Who even knows.

@fitzfizz good luck! I tend to react the same way in those situations, but also get a bit furious when I'm affected by inequity. Stay strong and stick up for yourself and hopefully there will be a positive outcome!

R/R: Rant: I'm annoyed with myself for obsessively POAS. I am adopting @fitzfizz strategy next cycle. It's too mentally tormenting, especially when you *think* you see two lines. 

I looked back at my FF chart where I've been tracking and have been getting squinters on cheapies since 9dpo and FRERs since 12dpo. Not progressing. I'm assuming CP at this point and just want it to be over with so we can move on to next cycle. Ironically, I have an appt with my new OB next week, so will she what she has to say, if anything.

@fitzfizz: I hope the meeting goes well today.  It sounds silly but I like to get myself prepared for hard conversations by using power poses and affirmations in the bathroom right before.  If I tell myself over and over that I am worth it and capable then it seems to help.  I also really like the advice on AskAManager for salary negotiations and other work-related issues.  Good luck!  You’ve got this!

@fitzfizz I am the SAME way with confrontation! I’m always thinking that they’re not going to take me seriously if I cry but I can’t help it! I hope everything goes smoothly for you and you get the target/salary you deserve

@dobbysfavoritesock I agree with you about the inauguration. It’s a step in the right direction but there’s still a long way to go. Keeping hopeful things take a turn for the better

R/R: I’ve mentioned this in my intro post but we have just decided to TTC right after ovulation ended 🙄 so this “TWW” is more for me to get to know you all and get used to posting. Never been so excited for a period before 😂
