Ages (you and SO): me 29, DH 28 in a week

How many months have you been TTC?: just started! 

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: PNV, BBT, will be starting OPKs for the first time, and HIO - considering SMEP

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) 
hi!! I’m so excited to finally be here! I’ve been on BOTB for about 2 and a half years 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m a loooong time on-and-off-again lurker. I was here briefly in April but it was more NTNP but I’m here for real this time! We were waiting to see if a festival we were supposed to go to last year that was on our pre-TTC checklist was going ahead or not but we just found out it’s been cancelled so we’re not putting off TTGP any longer. No kids, but I do have my baby boy Frankie, a black lab/border collie mix who is 2. I will be starting a new job soon as a Medical Laboratory Assistant, just waiting for my start date. I’m an American but I now live in the UK as DH is British, lived here about 2.5 years now. I hope this wasn’t too long of an intro 😬 

ETA: I technically just finished ovulating (of course 🙄) so I’m WFAF but I hope it’s okay I still post here while I wait for a new cycle to start

Welcome @jackie_dunny! Hopefully your stay here is short and sweet. Never heard of SMEP before... maybe I'll give that one a try next cycle.

@jackie_dunny Welcome! What's BOTB? It definitely sounds like you've lurked for quite some time; you've got a good grasp of the acronyms (and then some new ones for me to learn!) Either way, I hope your "real" stay here isn't too long. What's the festival that you'd been hoping to go to that's now cancelled?

@acleverusername BOTB is Babies on the Brain. It’s another board here on TB for people who want to start/extend their family but aren’t TTC just yet for a number of reasons. The festival is Glastonbury. It’s a massive festival over here. Basically the Coachella of the UK more or less

@jackie_dunny so funny DH was telling me about how it is cancelled last night and I wondered if that was the one you were talking about. Sorry that you’ll miss it but happy to have you here!
