Weekly Symptoms 1/17

How far along are you?

What symptoms do you have this week?

Questions/concerns?

Re: Weekly Symptoms 1/17

  • 8w3d and constipation combined with all-day nausea is ruining my life.

Question: for anyone that drinks Metamucil, how do you make it tolerable during pregnancy? Smoothies?
  • @pickle-chips we use benefibre because metamucil is gross. MH would actually just put the benefibre in his coffee etc because it completely dissolves.
When DD is backed up she gets fibre gummies and they seem to do the trick.

What symptoms do you have this week? I went a few days with minimal nausea and no dry-heaving. And now, the last two days, they’re back full-force and I’m puking my guts up. So, that’s fun.

    Questions/concerns? NATM

What symptoms do you have this week? Fatigue and queasiness have been ramping up a little. I’ve never thrown up while pregnant, but I definitely feel icky and it usually starts right around this time.

    Questions/concerns? Nada

  • I’m having so many blood sugar issues. I know I should call my doctor but Im worried. I hated endocrinology last time. I snack often, or am trying to, but I can tell that it spikes and crashes so hard/fast. Anyone else? I’m not diabetic but had gestational diabetes last time. Normal BMI and no other risk factors for diabetes. I think I’m just super sensitive.

I’m trying the unisom +b6 and it’s really working.

  • 11 weeks + 3 days
I've been feeling super moody lately. Other than that, symptoms have become almost non-existent. I'm hoping that it is due to 2nd tri approaching.
  • 11+7 and I guess my nipples are super sensitive now. My seatbelt was rubbing on them in the car and it was absolute torture.
  • 8+4 wicked headaches and the nausea is ramping up. This is around when it got bad last time too. 🤢
  • 9+3 the last 4 days were miserable!  So nauseous and I could hardly eat a thing.  I called my OB and she prescribed Compazine.  I took it last night and it knocked me out.  I felt better today for sure.  Not 💯 but better.  I’m also getting extremely painful gas 😖
This is all so new to me as with DS I never felt like this.
  • 10+3 If I take B6 and unisom I feel much better. I've been a little nauseous but no puking. There's very little food that sounds good. I worry I'm not eating as much as I should be but I try to eat whenever I can.
  • @emmylou78 I've also been taking B6 and unisom and found that it really helps get my nausea under control. I skipped one night of taking it and the following day was terrible :(
  • It's funny I feel like Unisom + B6 doesn't make a difference for me at all tbh. Just as I was thinking I was starting to feel better I violently threw up my breakfast this morning.

  • 9w today and am also finding nothing sounds good to eat. Not even eggs! And fatigue that just feels like post-nap grogginess. It is also really difficult for me to focus on anything. I haven't been able to read more than one or two pages of a book. And work!? Ugh.
  • @claireloSC unisom and b6 never did anything for me either. But the prescription version of that (diclegis/bonjesta) helps me a lot. I only vomit every couple days now that I’m on it, which is a huge improvement
  • I’ve been getting headaches in the late afternoon. I wonder if it’s the unisom wearing off and giving me a headache. I was worthless last night. Today, I ate a snack like every hour. Ugh. But I feel better if I keep eating. 😭

  • Just wondering if anyone else has tinnitus? Mine has been increasing in frequency and intensity, especially in the evenings. I’m going to mention it to my doctor when I see them next week, but was just curious if anyone else had experienced new or increased tinnitus in their pregnancy (or previous pregnancies).
