All of these sugary cereal cravings are bringing me back to my first pregnancy. I was eating ALL THE 'KID' CEREAL the entire time! I got home from the hospital after delivering my daughter and looked in the pantry and was so revolted. Threw away every single box, it all sounded so gross. Just like that, all cravings went out the door. So weird! I am loving my kids' frosted mini-wheats some mornings these days, though. I think my body craves the fiber... and they're delicious.
Apple slices with peanut butter have been my go-to the last few weeks.
Dinner is the worst! I'm starving but then eat a few bites and then I'm so bloated. Then I'm starving again at bedtime.
This! I havent been able to enjoy my supper in a few weeks! I did finally get my appetite back a little yesterday and the more today!
I had a craving for the Red Baron little bacon breakfast pizzas..... and I ate both for lunch *facepalm* but it was worth it since it was the first full "meal"(If you can call it that) I have have in weeks!
I cannot stop eating trash. What is wrong with me. I am currently choking down a salad but it's so hard to eat anything remotely healthy. Why does nature do this to us?

Uh last night my MIL made burgers and salad. She isn't a great cook, but I mean.. Its burgers! I couldn't even choke one down but demolished 2 servings of salad.
Made tacos yesterday and nachos with the leftovers was the best lunch today! I seem to need like 3 small meals between 10am and 3:30 and then like @doodlemom131 said at actual dinner time I eat a few bites and then I’m too bloated to eat anything else.
Nothing really sounds appetizing but I’ve been wanting cinnamon rolls since Sunday. I had DH buy a can then but never got around to making them because I felt awful after I requested them. But now I can’t wait for the weekend so I am making them today, actually just pulled them from the oven and will be icing them once cooled😋
@the_most_happy I lovvveeee the spicy nuggets from McDonalds and was so happy to hear they brought them back!

I’m seriously struggling to drink enough water. I don’t think about it all day and then by the end I’m parched and have a headache. Drinking tea in the morning to settle my stomach but rarely finish a glass. Any tips???
@jaxalia I’m not sure what your daytime setup is, but I have found bringing a jug of water (I use a 1L glass milk bottle) with me to my desk to refill my regular drinking glass has helped me so much!
Do you have a large water bottle you could drink out of? I’ve seen a few people I know post pictures of 4L(?) water bottles that have times marked on them (like 7am, 9am, 11am...) to encourage them to drink consistently throughout the day. I know one of them got theirs on Amazon.
@pickle-chips yes I got them, they were delicious! But I kind of felt awful the rest of the day, like just so sluggish lol.
@jaxalia I recently switched to drinking out of a 1L glass water bottle and aiming to finish three a day- it’s helping for me. I was finding I was either forgetting to get up and refill my water frequently enough or completely losing track of how much I’d had already that day, so this keeps it simple. It is a struggle though- the issue I’m running into now is I try to stop drinking much pretty early in the evening so I’m not getting up to pee a million times a night, but then I start feeling super parched before bed.
@jaxalia I really struggle with drinking enough water too. I have a big water bottle at work that keeps water sooooo cold, which helps. And lots of tea. I've also started drinking water with a squeeze of lime or lemon in a wine glass at the end of the day. Somehow drinking out of a wine glass makes me drink faster (surprise surprise)
These are great tips, I am not drinking enough water either. Are you guys just starving all the time? No matter what I eat or how much I swear I'm ravenously hungry so quickly again. How am I not going to gain 100 pounds??

I think I'm drinking enough water most days, but I'm still so parched at the end of the day. I've swapped in mineral water (perier) at the end of the day and that seems to help. Zach Efron tells me its much better for you than tap.
It's totally fine to lose a little weight in the first tri, don't stress yourself out about it! @doodlemom131. Baby tends to get their nutrition regardless, it's more mom's health that suffers if you can't eat enough, from what I've been told. But a few pounds is no biggie, my doc said it was fine and I know many others in the same boat. No way you don't gain in second tri, but that would be more cause for concern.

@doodlemom131 +1 to the above - baby will suck all the nutrients it needs! When I was pregnant with DS I had norovirus and was really worried about how much weight I was losing, but in the ER they basically said babies are leeches and will take every last drop of nutrition that they need.
I'm nauseous and hungry, so I eat and then I'm nauseous because I ate. Last night I had to gag down dinner. Nothing sounds good still, but I have to eat so I don't throw up. @doodlemom131 I agree with above. With DS I was so sick I lost 8 lbs in first tri. Once I had medication for second tri (ms the whole pregnancy), I gained the normal 25 lbs.
thank you everyone for the tips! I’m going to try bringing a bigger bottle of water, using more lemon/lime juice, and I think I have one of those ones with the times on the side as well I can find!
When I was fasting I couldn’t have any flavor additives so I think I got used to “denying” myself them. I def think now it’s time to use them to bribe myself to get the fluids I need!
@jaxalia I know you said you already have a bottle, but this is the 1L one I use- I only mention it because you said your lips are chapped too and I love how this one has a built-in lip balm in the top, just one less thing to keep track of! It’s pricey for a water bottle but great quality imo and I think they are really cute (which actually makes me want to use it more but I may be a weirdo for that, haha).
@grogu ugh our hospital cafeteria used to have AMAZING crinkle fries but they changed things and now fries are mediocre. Its probably better for my health but makes me sad.
Strawberries have been my go to snack before bed. Went to the grocery store last night just to get more... SALE on strawberries. Not a single carton on the berry display 😢
@bonanza1226 thats the worst! i had to go for strawberries too and picked up 3 cartons. i was doing pineapple but omg the heartburn that goes with that at night
Tonight I ate frosted mini wheats for dinner😐 any strong aromas turn me off and nothing sounded good so I sat out while everyone else had dinner and stuck with a bowl of cereal.

I don't know what tf happened to me at the grocery store today. Started out great with fruit, veggies, nuts. Ended with Mr. Noodles, Pogos and pizza pockets.
