1. How far along are you? 22+3 2. What brings you to this thread? Twins 3. Any upcoming appointments? 3 hour glucose with the lab on Thursday and OB check up next week. Hoping it's my last one with this OB and that mine is back from maternity leave for my February appointment! 4. Anything questions/concerns/thoughts? Nope.
2. What brings you to this thread? Previous 2nd trimester loss due to PPROM
3. Any upcoming appointment? January 8 - MFM
4. Anything questions/concerns/thoughts?Now waiting to pass viability🤞There's a measurement that was just off the normal range on baby's kidney at my Anatomy scan so we will control that at 28 weeks, but from what I see we really are just off normal and they said they see it rather frequently in little boys and it resolves itself so I've strangely been feeling ok about this. I look forward to hearing what my MFM has to say about on Friday though.
1. How far along are you? 20w2d 2. What brings you to this thread? Diabetes 3. Any upcoming appointments? I had one today with my mfm. Anatomy scan went well. Baby is measuring normal, but they couldn’t get a good view of his face or heart. They are referring me to a fetal cardiologist to check the heart, but he said he does this for all his diabetes patients because of increased risk of heart defects. He said my risk is low because my last a1c was 6.4. 4. Anything questions/concerns/thoughts? I’m feeling pretty good about things now. I asked him about my “hefty” insulin dose and he told me it was a relatively small dose and he’ll continue to adjust my insulin as needed. He also gave me the sliding scale for if my blood sugar is over 140.

1. How far along are you? 22w3d 2. What brings you to this thread? AMA and 2 previous losses 3. Any upcoming appointments? Jan 12th with mfm for anatomy scan. Did my as at the ob's office, but tech couldn't get all measurements bc Eli was breech and facing my back. Since i'm 37, they're going ahead and referring me there. 4. Anything questions/concerns/thoughts? Anytime you're moved up the line of command, it makes you a little bit nervous. That being said, my old OB sent everyone to an MFM for an anatomy scan and I really enjoyed it because they're 1000% more informative than an ultrasound tech and their equipment is way better.
1. How far along are you? 23+4 2. What brings you to this thread? AMA, previous pre-eclampsia, 4th c-section 3. Any upcoming appointments? Just had my 5th ultrasound yesterday at MFM 4. Anything questions/concerns/thoughts? Well, for the most part, Mia looks good and healthy, but it seems her heart has continued to tilt and is in a not-normal range now. However, this could really mean nothing, or there is a tiny chance that there could be problems. The ultrasound yesterday was specifically for her heart and ECG, but it was the 4th time they’ve noted it’s a little off. I was hoping that they’d just send me on my way and say don’t come back. While the doctor was super reassuring that she is fine, they need to send me to Seattle Children’s Hospital for an even more detailed ECG than they can get, and to confirm their findings. Seattle Children’s is one of the top 10 hospitals for children and babies in the country, so going there actually makes me more worried that they aren’t telling me something. I’m supposed to get a call today to schedule an appointment hopefully within a week.... because we are headed to Hawaii for 10 days on the 18th. (Escaping before we have 4 kids!) So not bad news, not good news, just have to go get more tests.
@yellingbanana Being in limbo is so hard, I'm so sorry you didnt get more reassuring news. I am glad, however, that the chances of an issues are really small. Hope you can get in soon!
1. How far along are you? 19w5d 2. What brings you to this thread? AMA and GD 3. Any upcoming appointments? endo next Tues, no OB until Feb 3 4. Anything questions/concerns/thoughts? I'll try to be around more. Had my anatomy scan and nothing turned up but a low placenta, which isn't a problem yet, so that's a relief. They want another scan for the heart in a month. The MFM said because they didn't get enough the angle he was at, but my OB had warned me that they'd want one just based on my age and GD. I was worried that since my GD turned up way earlier than they even tested for it (I caught it myself at home) I might have had high blood sugar during the crucial first eight weeks and not noticed, but if so it didn't do noticeable damage at least.
@yellingbanana I hope I'm remembering correctly that I just read you got good results in another thread, but if not, then I hope I'm prescient!
@queen_frostine yes! Good news! Her heart is functioning properly, it’s just placed in the center of her chest instead of to the left side. I’ll be getting one ultrasound a month to keep an eye on it. If anything questionable shows up at my next ultrasound, like a growth pushing her heart over, then we will be getting an MRI. But I have had so many ultrasounds now that I feel like they would’ve noticed something like that. So at this point I’m feeling very relieved and pretty confident that everything is good regarding her health.
