I’m a speech pathologist in an elementary school. We are typically in-person, but went virtual for the 2 weeks after winter break to prevent any possible school spread of COVID. As of now, NOT A SINGLE CHILD HAS COME TO SPEECH!!! I work with primarily preschoolers, so my beef is with the parents, not the kids. Like. Just tell me you’re not coming so I can do something other than stare at myself on the computer.

I hate these situations. This week in the chat room the parents agreed to cancel the meeting, but I wasn't in that chat room, so I went to school yesterday and no one was there except the principal. I was shocked because I wasn't notified. The whole day had gone for nothing.
