Family Issues

Has anyone ever had to cut out family members? Asking because I'm pretty sure we are not going to talk to my parents for a while, who knows if it will ever get better. I feel bad for my parents, although they brought it on themselves, but I feel more bad for my new daughter who won't get to know her grandparents. I'm just struggling with it and want to do right by my new little family. So just curious if others have had any issues once a grandchild is in the mix with extended family. Thanks for any thoughts or advice!
