One of my colleagues suddenly lost her brother last week so I organized sending her a flower arrangement. The catch is that I didn't have her address and didn't want to ask her. Through some sleuthing I found someone who shipped her equipment recently and sent it there, even though it's in SE Virginia rather than Maryland, where I thought she lived. Was kind of nervous it was a mistake, but she got them! Phew.
I was on a zoom call with some girlfriends until 12:30 am. So glad for friend time but I am a zombie today! 😴
Also got some karma last night. On Saturday I was on a fb group for people using lovenox someone was complaining about the bruises from injections. Mine have been small so far so I was like "I find spots that don't hurt and the bruises aren't big" .... Eating my words bc my injection last night left a HUGE ugly bruise lol.
Just got my first random, "are you pregnant?" while delivering some holiday meals, so I guess I'm starting to show? She also said that, "whatever [I] got don't crack!" after I told her my age. Even with a mask covering half my face it's nice to get a compliment!

Today was such an amazing exciting day for me at work. I work in a care home with elderly residents and we had their Christmas party for them today room to room (cause of covid) and I surprised them today with a shirt I made to announce I was pregnant. I am excited but equally sacred and nervous as I have never gotten to tell them before. I hope I didn't jinx it but it was time to share my news. Omg there faces were so worth every minute. They were sooo happy for me and some even made me cry. Best moment ever!!! 🥰
I’ve been quiet lately as I tried to clue up work for the holidays and tried to get all my shopping and wrapping finished.
I’m off now until January 4 and I can’t believe Christmas is in a couple days. I haven’t even thought about baking yet. It doesn’t help I’m so tired all the time.
Eeeek! I just ordered my first diaper bundle from HelloBello. They have a special going on today and tomorrow that you get a diaper bag with your purchase so I thought, why not? I have always cloth diapered my babies but I don’t think it will be realistic this go around. At least not until I am done with my master’s. A friend used HelloBello and she loved them! Anyway- ish is getting real

@kristah2 I realized today that tomorrow was freaking Christmas Eve and freaked out. DH hasn’t wrapped a single present. We don’t have a meal plan. And we still need to pick up a few parts to BIL’s present. We are a mess!
I am SO EXCITED for Christmas this year. I can't wait to see my daughter's face when she sees all the presents under the tree tomorrow morning. She has seen one gift wrapped up that someone dropped off and she can't stop talking about opening it. I keep catching her sitting by the tree looking at it lol
Today is a hard day for me. Today is my empty due date for my son I lost in July to T21 etc 😭 I miss him and wish I was bringing a baby home but instead im not and im only 15+3 weeks pregnant and his urn sits on the shelf in our office 💔 It feels so weird to think about. RIP little man!
@sugarcoateddonut that is so cute! We have 5 or 6 under the tree already and ds2 (4 in Jan) keeps alternatively stacking them, and then spreading them out evenly. He asks to open his everyday lol
@mindyb2019 sending you so much love today! This has to be a tough week for you guys. Allow yourself to have all the feelings, and know they are all appropriate feelings to have.
@_orchid_@sugarcoateddonut my DD is pretty excited for the first time too. Every time another present shows up she smiles so big. The first couple she kept trying to open without me seeing.
We decided to make a very impromptu trip to the mountains today. My parents have a house here that they haven’t moved to yet. It is supposed to snow a little tonight so we decided to try and get a white Christmas. We cut down a tiny Charlie Brown tree when we got here and decorated with the one string of lights we brought...no ornaments. I’m glad we did this. The first morning we wakeup at our house again we will do the rest of DDs gifts. We just brought a few small things with us to open tomorrow.
I just finished putting all the presents under the tree. I can’t wait to see DD’s face in the morning, she is going to be so excited but have no idea what is going on.
FWP our matching Christmas pjs didn’t make it in time, I guess they will have to be NYE pjs.
