Upcoming appointments: I had a call with my doctor on Friday and she wants me to go in for a beta draw the week of 1/4 and then we will chat again on 1/7 and she will request an u/s for me.
How are you feeling?: Feeling a bit like hurry up and wait, but hopefully having Christmas to look forward to and being off work will help pass the time until the appointments in the new year.
Rants/Raves: Can I rant about my shipping soon mattress that still hasn’t shipped yet again?! It still hasn’t shipped

GTKY: Are you a snow lover/does it snow where you live?: I’m a snow lover, but under specific conditions. I love it in December, but I’m usually over it come February, March... April. It does snow where I live, but it’s not always nice, magical snow. It’s often snow mixed with rain mixed with ice pellets, which I don’t like.

How are you feeling?:
Excited and anxious. I had some spotting yesterday that made me nervous but it seemed to stop and I'm trying to reassure myself that things are likely fine. It all feels quite fragile until you get a look inside.
The lower back pain is driving me nuts - It's going to be a long 9 months of that lol
Rants/Raves:
My in-laws gave horribly generic Christmas lists so I'm struggling to finish shopping. It's too early to make all of their gifts tied to baby which is a bummer because it would have made things so easy 😂

Haha I like snow when I am inside! I live in Michigan, so we get quite a bit of snow. I like winter sports but don't do them enough to make me love the snow. I like fresh snow - it's pretty and peaceful. I hate when it gets all brown and gross on the roads and ruins all my nice shoes lol

Rants/Raves: My DD woke up before 6am and called me on the Alexa, thus waking us all up. It’s her new trick so that we can help her get down off her loft bed. She’s scared to do it alone in the dark. Last night she asked for the smart plug to turn on a bedside light, which sounds like an amazing idea.

Not a snow lover at all. I only like snow for Christmas. MH says I’m like a cat because I like to curl up in the sun. I hate being cold!

It doesn't snow at all where I live. I guess it has in the past, but not more than an inch or two, and that's like every 5 years. I don't like cold, so as pretty as snow is, I'm okay with that.

Beta #4 & #5 on Monday and Wednesday, first appointment with my Dr in Monday and second ultrasound on Dec 28th-ish
Pretty much ok, random bouts of nausea but mostly normal.
We leave for a mini-getaway on Wednesday and I am so excited. I have to much to do, plus I have to fit in 3 appointments before then gahh! We will be staying at a cabin on the beach and it's going to be so nice to getaway. We live in a tiny house on my out-laws property and they aren't taking the current public health orders seriously so leaving was our best option 🤣
Is anyone in Canada planning on doing the sneak peek? I'm getting the free genetic screening but I kinda want to know the sex of the baby asap and unless the genetic screening comes back abnormal the panorama test is 🤑🤑🤑 I am wondering if I'd even tmget the results quickly because of how slow the mail is?
I like looking at snow but I live on the west coast of Canada where if we get 1 inch of snow is chaos and everyone panics 🤣🤣 I prefer the snow to stay in the Mountains because it causes a lot more work at my day job. I end up having to cancel routes and rerouting buses all day. It's just a pain in the butt.

I was originally scheduled for an US on the 30th but called and rescheduled to the 4th. I didn’t want to wait too long but I also didn’t want to be so early that I’d be in limbo if nothing was there yet.
Anxious, and so so tired. Also my boobs have been sore, which in my six previous pregnancies has never been a thing, so that’s different.

I’m so glad this week is Christmas. It’s a big milestone week for losses, so it will be a nice distraction and reason to stay busy.

@emmylou78 Your daughter calling you on Alexa cracked me up. thankfully our Google home doesn't understand my LO haha she tries to get it to listen but she can't pronounce G's yet. Thank goodness.
@Panaceia the only upside of snow is watching little ones play in it! We only get one or two good dumps of snow in late January or February so thankfully it doesn't last long!
@emily1052 when I had my ultrasound yesterday I was repeating "you are pregnant, everything is ok" in my head. Take today to feel all the feels and do whatever you need to ❤️ Sending hugs

How are you feeling?: Pretty good. Besides being more tired than usual I still don’t really have an symptoms. It would be lovely if the morning sickness could keep holding off until after Christmas. We aren’t telling family at Christmas but it might be hard to keep it a secret if I’m puking.
Rants/Raves: My sister-in-law is having her twins on Tuesday (scheduled c-section). We won’t be able to go see them cuz of covid but still exciting!

If I have to drive in it, I hate it. And yup we get plenty of snow where I live. I’ve never lived somewhere where it doesn’t snow.

Upcoming appointments: I went last week for a blood draw and ultrasound and got to see a perfect little gestational sac. I’ll go back 1/5 for another ultrasound and pray we see a heartbeat.
How are you feeling?: physically I feel great, just tired. Emotionally it’s a damn rollercoaster. I wish I could go back to my pregnancies before my loss where I just assumed everything would go perfectly.
Rants/Raves: in addition to my full time job I sell decorated sugar cookies on the side. Wrapping up the last of my Christmas pre-sales today and tomorrow! I could honestly get fourteen massages and I think my neck would still be killing me.

I got sent for a beta tester since my HCG was too low to register on the test in the doctor office (23). I imagine I'll have another beta but we're waiting on my progesterone level. I should hear from my doctor today or tomorrow probably.
How are you feeling?: Overall good. Boobs are sore any I'm having intermittent nausea but otherwise I'm feeling pretty good.
Rants/Raves: I'm still in disbelief that I'm actually here. Trying to just enjoy things and take it a day at a time and keep my anxiety in check. In the mentioned, we have school today and tomorrow and then we're off until January 4th. I'm so nervous about how bad things are going to be COVID-wise after winter break. So many of my students were talking about visiting family and different parties.

How are you feeling?: Extremely nauseated. Taking Declegis but it's not cutting it right now. Going to start taking a pill in the morning also to see if that helps
Rants/Raves: My husband is getting oral surgery today so he will basically post himself up on the couch and leave everything to me even though I feel terrible. It's not really his fault but the timing is poor to say the least.. especially since NONE of the kids presents are wrapped. Procrastination at its best here.

GTKY: Are you a snow lover/does it snow where you live? I love the snow. I live in CT so how much we get depends on the year. Last year we got absolutely nothing (I'm closer to the shoreline) I wish I could go skiing but I'm on pelvic rest until the spotting stops, but I doubt I would have gone anyway. I think that might be a pregnancy no-no because of the fall risk.
