My husband and I have been TTC since July. For the first time, on Sunday (10 dpo) I noticed an extremely faint positive on my pregnancy strip. I tested again the next day using a cheap 88 cent test and a FRER. The 88 cent test was very faint positive and the FRER was negative. I tested again this morning (12 DPO) and the FRER had another very very faint positive line. I typically get my period 12 DPO and that didn’t happen today. Why aren’t my tests getting darker? They have all been extremely faint squinters. I know I’m not imagining it and I’m reading them within the testing window. Could this be a chemical pregnancy? I’d love to hear if that has happened to anyone else and what the outcome was.
Re: Extremely Faint Lines for Three Days
The squinters could be evap lines. If not, then it's probable that the various brands/types of tests are looking for differing amounts of HCG (which is why one would say positive, because you've reached that level of HCG - and the other say negative, because you have NOT reached the level of hcg needed for that test).
