Re: Newbie intros w/o 12/7
How many months have you been TTC?: This is the first “serious” month of intentionally trying. My menstrual cycle didn’t return until 10-11 months postpartum, so everything has been regulating since then.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: OPK
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have a 16 month old daughter, two dogs, and two cats!
Ages (you and SO): 32 and 34
How many months have you been TTC?: 1st month
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: DTD, OPKs
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
We have a 3 year old daughter, two dogs and both work in education.
I got Mirena out back in July and did an intro here at that time.
We are finally starting TTC, but trying to be a little more chill this time. I went all out with FF app, OPKs and incessant testing last time. It stressed me and my DH out, especially after a rocky start with an early loss. So I am trying to be a little more calm and just DTD around when I think O might be. Occasional OPKs just to better relearn my cycle.
TTC#1 - 2 IVF cycles, 4 transfers, 2 miscarriages (LC age 4)
TTC#2 - a very welcome surprise without intervention (LC age 2)
TW- loss both in spoiler and at the end*
How many months have you been TTC?: this next cycle will be 3 and 1 AL
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: I will likely get some OPKs and track BBT and CM. I’m not planning to test early again. The stress of this week has taken a toll and I’m not ready to repeat it any time soon.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have 5 beautiful kids and an angel (early second tri loss). My husband is a doctor and I’m a SAHM who homeschools. We live in a small mountain town in Alaska. My hobbies are binging TV, crocheting, sewing, and crafting with my silhouette machine. I have tons of projects that I have bought supplies to create and I have finished a small fraction of them. It doesn’t stop me from buying though. We have a cat that bites. He is still on quarantine because I can’t seem to get the right email address to the vet to get him off. I have a Jack Russell puppy who chews everything in sight. He is a little maniac but he can give some incredible puppy snuggles so I keep him around.
DS: 6/1/18 (Pre-E; IUGR; seizures; NICU)
TTC #2: 12/2019
Sept 2020: HSG possible blocked right tube
Nov 2020: Letrozole + TI - BFN
Dec 2020: Letrozole + TI - BFP!!! EDD 9/18
Ages (you and SO): 36 and 34
How many months have you been TTC?: Technically since August, but I've only had one cycle since then as I am still bfing and stopped my bc at the beginning of August (just realized I had a CP yesterday). Before getting pregnant with DS (he's almost 2) I had a MMC with spontaneous triplets (!) so this whole journey has really been a rollercoaster. I'd love to have two kids.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: OPKs
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have a lovely 22 month old boy, my husband and I are professors at a small liberal arts college. I'm into baking, cooking, yoga - handy for this always at home period of our lives! I love my friends from my first BMB and thought maybe it would be nice to have support this time around as well.

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: sex, basically. I went a little crazy when I was trying to conceive my first and found it so stressful with temping and tracking and OPKs, so for now we're just dtd and see what happens.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have two kids, DS is 4 and DD is 2. No pets, but I'm hoping we can get a dog within the next year or two!
I mostly love baking. If you have a recipe to share, always always always tag me 🤪.
@bmo88 Thanks for re-intro'ing. I remember your from back in July, but we've (thankfully) had a lot of turnover here since then. Hopefully it continues!
@emeraldcity1214 I am sorry for your early loss.
@eggsandwich2019 Welcome and I'm sorry for you triple loss! Good luck and we're here to support you.
@poodledoodleooo Welcome! I love the "sex, basically". That's definitely a start! You should definitely check out our Crafing/Baking/Home Improvement thread; we've got a few bakers on here.

How many months have you been TTC?: 3 months
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: BBT and OPK
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have 1 dog. I’m a Systems Administrator. I like cooking, baking, knitting, watching football, and playing board games. We are newlyweds, as we got married in July.
Ages (you and SO): 31/34
How many months have you been TTC?: this will be the first intentional cycle
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: tracking CM, timing BD with the help of an app, been taking prenatal vitamins for awhile
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) 1 almost 6yo kid, 1 small elderly cranky dog, I work full time and covid-homeschool the kindergartner, which leads me to hobbies... and that I have none because of the work and homeschool situation. It's, um, less than ideal. It's actually horrible. It's the worst.
Welcome to everyone this week!
@Aerialmrs Welcome back; looking forward to getting to know you a bit better now that you're trying intentionally. The homeschooling/working from home situation sounds awful. Do you have any support from family or friends? It's been such a challenging year for all the working parents.
