How are your other kids doing this week? One is learning in person, which is nuts. The other two are watching me as a parent laying on the couch.  
Rants/Raves: my youngest has stopped sleeping. Which is lovely.  
Concerns/Questions: just overall worried about this pregnancy. Unfortunately.

How are your other kids doing this week? Driving me crazy! It's been crappy wet, cold weather here and they've been cooped up more than usual. H has also been gone for 5 days now so there's also an adjustment period for them for that too.

Rants/Raves: Rant-I'm so tired of being sick and just blah. Thankfully, with H being gone, my two oldest boys have really stepped up in helping with our animals but man I'm over it. Rave- my littlest love is 17mos old and still naps. He's a pretty independent kiddo and usually falls asleep on his own. Today I've been feeling especially crappy and he fell asleep snuggling with me on the couch. 😍😍 Seriously my favorite thing ever!

GTKY: What are your favorite television shows (live tv or streaming)? We don't have cable. Just Amazon Prime Video and the only time I watch anything is when H is gone since I don't sleep well when he is away. I just finished up GOT (yes I know I'm so behind) and was severely disappointed. I need to find a new show to watch now so definitely following this thread for suggestions.

We got our Christmas tree today.  Other than that, it’s been a fucking DAY and I’ve been counting down to bedtime since 1 pm.

Rants/Raves: my husband and I got into an argument today.  In the middle of it he says, “hey kids, mom is pregnant and we’re having another baby”.  I guess he’s still mad that I told a friend thanksgiving weekend.  So that’s how our kids found out and I haven’t spoken to him since.

Concerns/Questions: fuck today.

GTKY: What are your favorite television shows (live tv or streaming)? We started watching the Mandalorian as a family.  Other than that, I love The First 48.

Rants/Raves: I have felt like absolute trash all week. MH had to work all weekend, so it was just me and the kids. Thankfully I was able to keep them busy today with gingerbread houses!

How are your other kids doing this week? ugh still going through a regression and teething. This morning he woke me up at 6 AM. He usually wakes up at 7:30-7:45. 😐 And he’s getting his 4 canines. 

Rants/Raves: DS has become afraid of swimming when he normally loves it. I don’t know how to overcome it with him! He doesn’t even want to get water above his belly button. 🤦🏽‍♀️ This makes me so sad. I keep breaking out and it’s driving me insane. I rarely get zits so to have 3 right now is crazy. But at least it isn’t cystic (I get cystic acne if I consume dairy).

Currently watching The Boys and that’s good. Undoing is next. Recently finished Queen’s Gambit (highly recommend), the Crown, and probably something else? 

All time faves are gossip girl, vampire diaries/the originals, and one tree hill hahaha. These are my newborn baby binge watch shows.

Thanks for love, mamas.  He was pretty remorseful this morning.  He’s a good man (I swear!), but just such an ass sometimes.  Thankfully, the older two haven’t said a word about it so I don’t know if they weren’t listening or just haven’t brought it up.  The 3 y/o is too little to understand.

Also, a kid in our 3 y/o’s daycare class tested positive for the Rona so now we have to get Jack tested.  He definitely gets to be the one who deals with it since I’m at work.  I’ll be grateful for that because I’m an emotional hot mess and wouldn’t be able to handle it.

Concerns/Questions: I asked this is the weekly check in, but those of you with 2+ kids, what do you drive? I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and my lease is up this month so we need something bigger with a third row. I'd love a Tahoe/Suburban but that's out of the price range for now. 
GTKY: What are your favorite television shows (live tv or streaming)? I just finished Outlander and I am obsessed with it. It was one of those shows where I was sad I finished it. other than that the usual go to's are Friends and the Office.

How are your other kids doing this week? He's home with a stuffy nose today but luckily our COVID guidelines say that if that's the only symptom to keep home for 24 hours and then he can resume activities (ie. daycare) if he is feeling up to it (and he is doing laps around our kitchen island so I'm thinking he is fine LOL). Meaning I have to tackle the work day with a toddler on the loose which is difficult but grateful it will only be for one day and really feeling for those mamas who have to do this on the regular.

Rants/Raves: Not a ton to either rant or rave about... Idk is that a good thing or a bad thing LOL

Ooh... so many.  Call the Midwife, Derry Girls, Fleabag,  The Crown, The Great British & Canadian Baking Shows (prefer the British....Canadian versions are always so....Canadian... lol if you know you know), Parks and Recreation... I do love a good TV show.

@Beckyf321 WOW!!!  I would be so mad, I'm not sure when I would recover.  Anyway, if it makes you feel better my girls had to get tested twice and they were both troopers but I had to kind of pin the little one's head down.

@nopegoat DH and I are watching game of thrones now we have two more seasons, I know we are super late to that parade.

How are your other kids doing this week? They are good, I just feel so bad for being absolutely spent every single day.
Rants/Raves: My husband tried to tell me exhaustion isn't a symptom of pregnancy and I'm like it sure as shit is.  Maybe you recover in the second trimester, but then you are out again for the third.
Concerns/Questions: *TW* I'm getting nervous again, so I may call for more bloodwork, but honestly I just want to see that baby.  A MMC is it's own personal hell for all following pregnancies. *TW*

We are currently watching Schitt's creek for the first time, and GOT also for the first time, I think I'm going to start on Outlander after this.  I'm also trying to finish up Supernatural.  As you can see TV has been on the menu A LOT lately

How are your other kids doing this week? She suddenly hates having her diaper changed and is starting to be strong enough to sit up while I’m trying to wrestle her back down. We used to be able to distract her with a toy and it doesn’t work anymore. Otherwise she is so fun. She has energy for the both of us and just wants to explore everything.

Rants/Raves: they didn’t put her sheet or blanket on for nap time. I checked into the video and saw her sleeping on a plain cot and it made me more upset than it should have. I haven’t felt overly emotional this pregnancy until now.

Concerns/Questions: my symptoms disappeared for a few days last week and I got really nervous, but now they’re back. I have my blood draw for NIPT this week and will be happy to be past that hurdle soon.

GTKY: What are your favorite television shows (live tv or streaming)? I don’t watch a lot of TV but I LOVE the great British baking show.

@bntfroggie I totally feel you on the *TW* mmc. I went through one that was discovered at the NT scan at 11.5 weeks in May and I was devastated. I keep having the same feelings as you. I have an ultrasound tomorrow (10.5 weeks) and I am petrified. I've been praying non stop.

@AKuzReve Regressions and teething are tough! Hang in there, this phase will pass soon.
@hamhamler Diaper change battles are a pain, especially when it’s 💩. I’m actually thinking of switching to pull-ups just to make life easier (assuming they are as effective as regular diapers).

How many kids do you already have? Ages? One 21 month old ( @hamhamler I decided to go until 2 years old lol. I definitely get confused looks from people as they mentally calculate, so to strangers I round up/down from half year mark).

How are your other kids doing this week? He’s now speaking almost entirely in sentences and engaging in full (toddler version) conversations with us. It’s so much fun, but also bewildering how much development occurs the second year! 

Rants/Raves: First prenatal appt tomorrow!! It’s hard to believe the only confirmation I’ve had so far is the HPT I took at 9dpo. I feel like I’ve been pregnant forever while also not “officially” pregnant at all - feeling both nervous and excited about the appt.

I have almost the same story.  Mine was discovered at 12wks, on my birthday that year.  It was awful.  Oh and for extra fun I told my husband he didn't need to come with me because it was only a little scan.  Then I had to tell him that I lost the baby.

I also experienced a MMC with my first, and as much as I wish no one to ever go through that or to have ever experienced that, I am happy I am not the only one in that boat. With this pregnancy, I have had so much nausea, exhaustion, headaches, you name it, so I felt confident (although still nervous) for the first US. Since the US, I have had nearly no symptoms (still exhausted). I think the stress of that first US was wreaking havoc on my body. It's amazing what our minds can do.

I am so sorry about your MMC and finding out on your birthday without someone there for support. I also didn't have anyone with me (COVID protocols) and it was awful.
