    @inthewoods23 I wish I had a proper oven for baking bread! We live in a tiny house (300sq ft) and only have a convection toaster oven.

    I made Hello Fresh bulgogi meatballs 2 nights ago. They were delicious and I felt like a total chef making the sauce. 👩‍🍳

    @emmylou78 I LOVE Hello Fresh. I'm sad because we had to drop down to once a month for it financially, but we have all our recipe cards saved and we remake recipes all the time.

    I've been spending the last few days running like 60 masks thru my sewing machine. I''m about half done overall.

    I made some hearts with my DH and my initials 'carved' in them, lol.  I guess I'm a bit sentimental today. :wink:

    I didn’t want to intrude on the IF thread for something totally unrelated so I’m putting it here. @gingermama29 Can you post or send your gingerbread recipe? I have been on the lookout for a good gingerbread recipe.

    @fitzfizz she sent it to me in Google drive so I took screenshots and will post them here. Just a quick note that it calls for 5 cups of flour but I have found both times that I made this that it wasn't enough and the dough was too sticky. Once everything was mixed, I added at least another cup and ended up working more into it before I rolled it out. They freeze REALLY well too!!! We thawed some months after Christmas and they were as soft and delicious as when they were freshly baked!!


    I like to make mine look like the reindeer. They're so cute!

    @fitzfizz Well, hot d@mn! Those cookies are gorgeous! If you weren’t a doctor I’d figure you to be a Martha Stewart in the making.😍 And your Christmas cards were gorgeous too! I love beautiful cards & homemade things but rarely make the time to do crafts. I did make our wedding invites and used a gold wax seal. Kindred spirits... 

    For the holidays I actually got a bit crafty & homemaker-ish. I went out to the forest to pick out the flowers & greenery for wreath-making on the porch. Here are the first wreaths I’ve ever made. All the wreath frames & backing got used up by others so mine are just branches & twine. 




    And the two turkeys I cooked yesterday for the belated Christmas Dinner. One came out gorgeous but I didn’t think to take a pic. This second one got a bit dark but tasted moist & delicious.

    @keikilove Those wreaths are beautiful! I have been wanting to try to make a wreath with real greenery, but we don’t have the best plants around here. I might try a magnolia wreath for spring. 

    I made a loaf of bread that was so pretty I didn’t want to cut it. I did eventually, and can confirm that it is quite tasty.

    @fantasyflyte I make these for Christmas morning every year! I double the salt in the dough and usually add a little more cinnamon/sugar filling but these are GOOD.
