Contractions or Bloating?

So I've had two pregnancies before this and I've never gone into the hospital because my contractions were close together. The first was induced and my second my water broke. I'm 38 weeks and I keep having a tightening of the abdomen and a burning sensation, but it just lasts forever, it doesn't fluctuate, or there's a tighten and release but there's a burning sensation underneath the when time. I know I'm bloated and gassy (thank you hormones) but has anyone else had problems telling the difference between bloating and contractions??
