How far along are you? 13w, 3 d
I was able to eat Thanksgiving dinner and took a unisom to not feel sick yesterday. Managed to get through cooking and the rest of Thanksgiving Day, including a 5K walk, and didn't start to really feel tired until 8:00 p.m. . Hoping this is a sign that things are beginning to improve.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? Still waiting on my NIPT results to come back. Ugh... this wait is torture. I should hear something back by next Friday. FX its all low risk. If it isn’t, well there’s not much I can do to change that.
@DoubleUp8 glad you made it through a full thanksgiving! FX that’s a turning point for you!
How far along are you? I think 9+4, but FFFC I can never remember the days exactly (2020 what are days?) and sometimes end up correcting after @akoros posts bc we have the same edd.
@DoubleUp8 jealous of your 5k! I'm looking forward to having energy to walk/run again.
@mindyb2019 I think that's usually 2/3 trimester, and like @halfanewt said you'll usually switch by then on your own. I'm a former stomach/back sleeper and a body pillow helped A LOT with making side sleeping tolerable. Oddly I've been a left side sleeper since my pregnancy with DS1, but this pregnancy has me on my right side only.
@halfanewt fx those leggings go on sale! Yay for seeing baby on Monday!
@mindyb2019 I hear you on nerves, I know I generally don't have very many symptoms (and shouldn't complain!), but it can be nerve-wracking. As far as sleeping position, like others said, I was told that you'll usually roll over when you need to, anyway, as it'll get uncomfortable.
@DoubleUp8 That's great for your 5k! I did manage to take a sort-of long walk (2.5 miles, "long" for me is usually twice that) last week...but only one. Was exhausted from cleaning, prepping, and cooking.
Glad you are starting to feel better! I feel large too, but I think it's all in my head as my bloat has gone way down. Two weeks ago I couldn't button or zip my jeans, but I wore the same exact pair over the weekend with no problem closing them up.
@halfanewt OMG, white grape juice sounds amazing right now!
@_orchid_ I wish fresh vegetables appealed. Right now I am forcing myself to choke down veggies.
@akoros Glad you told your family. I hope you can keep the sciatica under control, that bugging you is no fun at all.

@mindyb2019 just checking in with you friend. Any news on the NIPT front? I've been thinking of you!!
@mindyb2019 Hope you get your results soon!
@DoubleUp8 Glad you started feeling better and were able to enjoy Thanksgiving!
@mindyb2019 So sorry for the annoying long wait, I hope you hear soon and that your upcoming appointments go well! Agree with the others who said you will be uncomfortable sleeping on your back before it would become a potential issue, at least that was the case for me last time (and I actually don’t think I’ve ever slept on my back since!)
@halfanewt Yay for good NIPT results, hope the NT scan went well also!
@_orchid_ Cracking up at the melted chocolate thing. But I have started craving healthier things too thank goodness, I’ve been having a Granny Smith apple every day and made DH sauté some kale last night, so random. When is your NIPT?
@akoros Yay for telling your parents, I was lurking in another thread and saw your mom was really cute and excited, that is so wonderful!
@ramzlau Yay for being past NIPT, I really hope your morning sickness goes away ASAP.

@mindyb2019 I'm glad your first tri symptoms seem to be going away too, even though it may be nerve-racking at times! Hang in there!!
@halfanewt Holiday decorating is exciting! Glad you're feeling well enough to decorate!!
@_orchid_ Ditto on the weird vivid dreams. Don't know if I talk in my sleep during them and I'm a little scared to ask MH. Congrats on having most of your holiday shopping done!
@akoros Congrats on telling your family. I know that step can be scary. I'm also glad it went well!!
@ramzlau So glad you're past the NIPT waiting phase. I hope your morning sickness gets better soon! It's no fun to deal with.
@legallykate Yay for graduating from the fertility center and I'm wishing you all the luck with your first OB appointment. I'm sorry your feelings have been getting in the way a bit of you being excited about your pregnancy journey but your feelings are completely valid! I'm sending you all the love and support!
How far along are you? 10+3
Upcoming Appointments? (first official) OB appointment on Thursday!
Cravings/Symptoms? My hyperemesis is still kicking my butt. I'm able to keep most carbs down which has been my go-to.
How are you doing? Rants/Raves/Randoms? Infusion appointments are going a lot more smoothly with the PICC line which is great! It's a quicker in and out process and I'm definitely loving getting poked less. I also started practicum today for school and will start to work with clients this semester which is really exciting!! I'm having a bit of a rough time managing my home life with school and being so sick and tired. It's nice to be able to take a bit of a break and have a really understanding community behind me if I need to take a step back for a bit. It hasn't been easy for me coming to terms with what this pregnancy will look like but I'm looking forward to my appointment Thursday and talking to my ObGyn about how we can make this as normal of a pregnancy experience as possible for me.
