I have a big batch of buffalo chicken chili in the crockpot as we speak! It's a favorite if ours, super easy, and would probably make for a good freezer meal as well. This is the recipe I use: https://slowcookergourmet.net/slow-cooker-buffalo-chicken-chili/
M: leftovers Tu: beef and noodles since I didn’t make it last week and some veggie W: chicken tortellini and some other veggie Th: I have some chicken breast I need to use, so something with that F/Sa: ?
S: Chili with Mac and cheese M: Skillet Chicken and Broccoli Pot Pie T: Ground Beef and Sweet Potato Skillet W: Maple French Toast Roll Ups with eggs and bacon Th: Corn Chowder F: Shepherd’s Pie S: Strawberry Cream Cheese French Toast Bake with Omelets
M: Pork loin, mashed potatoes and peas T: Tacos and Spanish rice W: CHILI!! Th: Chicken and dumplings F: Take out... maybe Chinese or Pizza. Sa: leftovers Su: Roast beef, cheddar and candied bacon sliders
Tonight: roasted delicata squash with some pasta probably
T: shepherd's pie W: leftovers Th: kale and bean bake F: pizza (I just discovered that there's a pizza place that delivers to our neighborhood! We live out in East Jesus basically so this was very exciting news!)
M: tonight was smashburgers T: it's our wedding anniversary night so we're making our favorite "cooking together" recipe pasta aglio e olio W: we're both working nights so nothing Th: shredded chicken and cucumber/red onion/cherry tomato/mozzarella salad w/ balsamic vinagrette F: eat down the house leftovers night - probably take whatever chicken is left and make burritos
@aaimee Oh man, GrubHub used to be a weekly occurrence back when we lived in Atlanta. When DS was born, we got so many GH gift cards. It was awesome. We don’t have GH here, either. Or a lot of our favorite kinds of food (I miss Indian soooo much). Going from a very big city to this...village... has been very good on our bank account but a big adjustment for our meal plans every week since we eat out probably a third as often as we used to.
Mon: salmon, mashed potatoes, zucchini Tue: pesto pasta with chicken and broccoli Wed: probably salad with chicken Thu: maybe spaghetti with ground turkey meat sauce Fri: ? Sat: likely eat out. We found a really yummy Thai place close by so that or Chipotle!
@hannahbananas11 it is a huge adjustment for sure. I use to live a mile from our local mall and walmart. Walking all over the place bc everything was so close. This town's only real grocery store closed two years ago. Luckily a new one is going to be opening next year but still.
@babyturtle22 I wish hubby would eat Thai! Definitely getting some for lunch tomorrow now
