Re: All Due Date Check-in 11/15
GTKY: I know this year may look different, but what are some of your favorite holiday traditions? Truthfully I love that MH's family celebrates on Christmas Eve, my family was always a Christmas Day celebration. It's been nice for the past decade to have Christmas morning just be us, my BiL has tried to make a thing of Christmas morning breakfast at his house but that faded away pretty quickly.

GTKY: I know this year may look different, but what are some of your favorite holiday traditions? We're not a festive bunch but now that my son is getting older, I do want to start creating some traditions for our family. What those will be, no idea. We only started eating turkey on Thanksgiving a few years ago and last year we put up a Christmas tree for the first time since I was 8 or 9. So I guess that's a start lol

I'm more thinking of putting a sweater or a blanket on top of a short sleeved outfit, and now that you've mentioned it I ran very hot as a child, so there's a decent probability that the girls will too!

I have done so much in the nursery, and I'm so happy with how it looks 😁 oh AND DH felt Teddy kick for the first time today 🥰🥰🥰
GTKY: I know this year may look different, but what are some of your favorite holiday traditions?
I love making and decorating cookies with my daughter. I also love decorating the tree, my husband gets super into it which is my favorite part. He has a good eye for gaps 😂 And we always watch Elf together.
GTKY: I know this year may look different, but what are some of your favorite holiday traditions? We usually have Christmas morning at home with the kids, then head to my parents for lunch and my in-laws for supper on Christmas day. It is always an exhausting but wonderful day and we aren't sure yet what it will look like this year.
@juliebeannn I hope you feel completely back to normal with no fear of eating very soon!! Can't imagine.
@princessjenney That had to be such a sweet moment when your husband felt Teddy for the first time!
@clevans1 I'm right there with you with the pelvic pain.
GTKY: I know this year may look different, but what are some of your favorite holiday traditions? Honestly just spending it with my family and making all the same dishes every year we love makes me happy.
GTKY: I know this year may look different, but what are some of your favorite holiday traditions? We get the Swiss Chalet festive special the night we decorate our tree haha. We’ll do that this year still as it’s takeout.
GTKY: I know this year may look different, but what are some of your favorite holiday traditions?
Last year we went to brunch at the golf club instead of cooking on Thanksgiving day and it worked out great! So we are planning to do the same this year. We won’t be seeing any family for either holiday so brunch works perfect for us. It’s also at a private club where they take social distancing very seriously.
GTKY: I know this year may look different, but what are some of your favorite holiday traditions? Thanksgiving with my family has always been a big deal, we actually usually have a big meal at my dad's church where everyone brings lots of food and I love ti because you have the traditional American thanksgiving foods but also lots and lots of Haitian food and I just love it all! And I'm going to miss it all this year.

GTKY: I know this year may look different, but what are some of your favorite holiday traditions? I love Christmas shopping for our son with my husband. It’s one of my favourite “date nights” of the year!! We get someone to watch our son, head to the mall or wherever and shop, grab dinner, and just have a really great time thinking about all our loved ones and how blessed we are.
GTKY: I know this year may look different, but what are some of your favorite holiday traditions? I don’t really have any! I don’t see it as a negative. We change up our holidays almost every year and I like that. With DS, I just love to see him happy and around family.
GTKY: I know this year may look different, but what are some of your favorite holiday traditions? We have a super small family- by choice, so holidays are always really mellow. My priority is that the holidays never be stressful or overwhelming. We mostly just stay in our PJs, cook and eat yummy food, watch movies all day. Honestly, nothing is really changing for us
@manillabar American/Haitian Thanksgiving pot luck sounds amazing! Our Thanksgiving meals always turn out to be a mix of traditional American and yummy Korean favorites! I love mixed culture meals!
@jfcmomoftwo Sounds like such a sweet tradition with your husband!! And I totally feel you -- I wish it were March already. I'm so ready to have this baby lol.
@treebagel Totally don't want to come off as a creeper but I randomly think of you during the day, when I get really uncomfortable, I think "how does she stand in an OR all day?? That's gotta be so hard!!" And now the added mental/emotional stress of covid running around, thinking of you chica.
@sunny_native14 Sounds like such a nice holiday. Mellow is totally my jam.

@princessjenney wow, I wish I had the initiative to start doing the nursery. The spare room still looks like a yard sale. 😂
@xvividash I had the same fear when I was pregnant with DS. SO had to drive six hours overnight to make it for the last 15 minutes of labour. It was so close!
GTKY: I know this year may look different, but what are some of your favorite holiday traditions? Decorating the house. Going to hubby's oldest sister's Christmas afternoon for noshing and presents. She has this INSANE Christmas village that takes up the whole dining room and has multiple levels and a train that goes all the way though. I want to read Holly Twas the Night Before Christmas every year so I just ordered it to start this year.
