I already decorated for Christmas this year, and it has boosted my mood so much!

I made apple cider donuts for breakfast. I was going to make them for our neighbors this weekend but here I am eating them for breakfast instead

I fell asleep on the couch after dinner at 7pm. Woke up in the same spot at 6 this morning. I got out of bedtime and dinner clean up. I would like to say I feel bad but I don’t.

@AKuzReve I could leave mine up year round and be totally ok with it. There is just something special about Christmas decor!!

We’re thinking of being grinches and mostly ignoring Christmas this year (no presents and no toddler-attracting decorations). We don’t live near family so it will just be the 3 of us. DD is too young to know/care and we aren’t big holiday people ourselves. The only part I really enjoyed was getting together with family and that isn’t going to happen this year. We will wear matching jammies though...

I am not looking forward to putting our tree up this year. My 1yr old is a complete beast and I know it's going to be a huge battle to keep him away from it. Baby gate won't work because he can climb over. We always get a real tree so we have a while before dealing with it.

@nopegoat have you seen the felt Christmas trees you can put on the wall for kids to decorate over and over again? It looks cute and like it might help deter the small creature lol
