Now confirmed for my ER on Wednesday morning! I am both excited and super nervous about it. I now have 10 follicles growing and they think 8 of them are mature enough for good eggs. Most of them are on the right, which seems to be the easier ovary to access based on how my ultrasounds have gone, so hoping the retrieval will be relatively easy. I’ll be under conscious sedation for it. I’ll trigger with Ovidrel tonight and then start with Endometrin right after the retrieval.
My vacation is off by one day to cover my implantation as well (I’m just assuming at this point it’ll be 5 days and not 3). Glad I told my boss what was happening so the extra day was pretty easy to explain! Fingers crossed that all goes well from here... now that I just have the Ovidrel injections left, I feel like I have less control over things.
Out of our 15, only 4 made it to freezing. Hoping that’s enough... we won’t find out about quality until our next appt with the RE Jan 7th. On the plus side, AF started on CD 24 since I finished progesterone 4 or 5 days prior to that. So we are a week closer to a FET, maybe in Jan instead of Feb ☺️
Thanks for all the well-wishes! ER went really smoothly - a lot less painful than I expected. Uncomfortable for sure, but not super painful. They ended up getting 9 eggs and so now I wait to find out how many fertilise. My husband’s samples have always been really good though, so I’m hopeful!

But the instructions that I received told me that I can’t pee after midnight until transfer 🥴 well that’s not possible, I’ll piss myself even if I don’t drink anything after midnight. Edit: I also eat pineapple core, Brazil nuts, and Pom juice 🤪🤦🏻♀️😄 on the daily basis.
@dukie001 There is no way I could stop myself from peeing in the morning. My instructions for the implantation are to drink ~ a litre of water an hour ahead of time. I wonder why they want you to hold it from midnight?
@sawasap I have no idea. They also told me no food oh water after midnight, just a little bit to take my Estrace pills in the morning. It blows my mind. I’ll try to follow their instructions the best I can of course, but not sure if I would be able to hold it for so long
I got my fertilisation report back and.... I also got four! This is just fertilisation and not fully developed at this point, but hey, I’ll take it! If the 9 eggs they got, 7 were mature. Honestly, I don’t know if 4 zygotes is a good number or not. Just hoping most of them pull through and we can transfer 1 and freeze a couple as backup
@dukie001 that’s so weird! I had a 10:30am transfer and was told to urinate around 9:15am, and then drink at least 24 oz. of water to refill 🤔 surprised they would make you stay “full” for so long. Anyway, good luck tomorrow! Let us know how it goes! I’ve been doing the pineapple and pomegranate juice 😆 I can’t find Brazil nuts anywhere.
Ugh we had about 12 inches of snow here in NY, luckily our neighbor has a snow blower so I paid his kid to dig us out, but I scooped a few shovel fulls off the back patio for the dogs. Hoping I didn’t do any damage 😖 it’s like that heavy, icy snow. Didn’t even occur to me that I probably shouldn’t be doing that until after I did it 🤦🏼♀️

@sawasap Thanks 😊! Yes, everything went smooth and quick as far as FET itself. Of course I couldn’t hold not peeing after midnight, I don’t know how anyone can. Actually I wasn’t even trying. I just drank my water in the morning on the way to the hospital and it was enough. I asked them why is it they require not to eat or drink after midnight and apparently some women can’t lie still during FET 😮 and got to be sedated to finish the procedure.
Now we wait 😇 I already know I will be testing earlier 😄
Transfer is set for Monday at 11am. I feel like everything is moving so slowly through this part and the 2ww is going to be brutal lol. The nurse couldn’t even tell me if I still had 4 growing embryos or if any of them had arrested, so I feel no more settled than I did before the call
My blood test is tomorrow 🥳 So we will see, but I have a good feeling about this one ☺️
Not sure if anyone is into / has heard of ASMR or Reiki, but I’ve been listening to ASMR for stress relief for years and I swear it helped me stay chill throughout this last 2ww. If you’re into it, grab some headphones and visit YouTube, search for WhispersRed - she’s my favorite, but I also just discovered Lune Innate and she has a fertility/reiki video that I listened to at least half a dozen times during the last 2 weeks lol 💕

Doctor just called, it’s confirmed 🥳 my HCG is 260! Back Wednesday to make sure it doubles. I’m so excited but also so nervous 😬 I know that a positive test doesn’t always equal baby, so I’m trying to contain my excitement a bit. But I have NEVER even had a faint line on a test before, and we’ve been at it for nearly 3 years at this point! So if nothing else at least now I know I can get pregnant 🙂 and that I’m excited about.

AFM, transfer went well this morning! Turns out all four of my embryos are still viable. I had three BBs and one lower quality embryo that they’re going to watch and decide on tomorrow. I should be able to freeze at least two though. I feel SO much less pressure now knowing we’ll have backups. I got to take home an ultrasound picture from the transfer too. It’s just a little white spot, but still more than I’ve ever had before.

Had my 2nd bloodwork this morning and HCG doubled 😬 first ultrasound is scheduled for Weds. Feels a bit unreal. I’m trying to be excited but I’m more so nervous - this is the farthest we’ve ever been and I’m scared something will go wrong 😣 so hard to get out of that “disappointment” mindset even when things seem to be progressing 😕 Adding to the stress - although it’s super early we do plan to tell our parents tomorrow since we will all be together (and they will definitely be wondering why I’m not boozing!) our parents don’t have any idea that we’ve even been trying so I’m super nervous to tell them. Just nervous all around!! Lol hope you guys are all doing well though - and wishing you a Merry Christmas if you’re celebrating! 🎄🎁

I know the feeling about stressing, it’s never gonna end, not until you hold that baby (or babies 😉, you transferred two right?) in your arms. But on the bright note, it’s good so far and we are rooting for you! I’m trying to stay positive and busy...at home 😁 I’m on leave until 15 Jan. My husband is going to Delaware after New Years to pick up his mom and bring to live with us. She has Alzheimer’s and literally has no short term memory. So he wants to give his dad a break. He’ll wait until after my second beta and then go because he believes I have to be Cauch potato and not lift anything at all. And with our son being a little tornado this little break is actually good 😌. And we are not telling anyone with exception of his parents that we are in FET phase again. I don’t want to jinx anything.

@kam174 I totally get what you mean about getting out o the disappointment mindset. I keep going back and forth between getting my hopes up that this one will stick and planning out a future FET for when it fails. It’s a rollercoaster. But so exciting to get good test results!!
@dukie001 I was just scrolling through the page and reread your post about searching for every symptom and not feeling anything except cramping which is probably the progesterone - that’s me right now. I wish there was a way to tell right away if it was going to stick or not. I’m still debating if I’m going to test before my beta on the 4th or not... I’m not a very patient person and it’s already been three years of trying, so I just want to know!

@dukie001 Still waiting. Not sure I’m going to make it to the end of the tww 😂 Your line was so strong, it makes me want to test at 7dpt! The cramping has mostly stopped for me. Had a tiny bit of spotting 3dpt. Otherwise, everything has been entirely normal and I’m trying to remind myself that feeling no symptoms at this point is completely normal.
@sawasap Yes you are right symptoms are from progesterone anyway. And that spotting was probably was from implantation 😉. I had it too, very very little spotting on 5dp5dt in the morning. Frankly, testing put me at ease, I’m not stressing like crazy person any more. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻💕.
I have hard times refilling my prescription for syringes and needles. How crazy is that? I use online pharmacy Express Scripts, it’s a huge pharmacy and them telling me that they have these items not in stock sounds a little scatchy. Right now I use my old stash from 2019, but it got super low...is it time to panic yet?
@dukie001 I mean, the timing is right for it to have been implantation bleeding... I’m hopeful anyway. I wish I could send you some of my needles, I have tons left over and the pharmacy can’t take them back! No idea what I’m going to do with them now...
