Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 6/29, 6 weeks today (unless the doctor tells me different)

FTM/STM/STM+: FTM, but not first pregnancy

    Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: Finding out

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: a lentil

    Upcoming appointments: Nov 12th

How are you feeling?: fine, mostly tired and a little gassy

Rants/Raves: So much anxiety today, and work is suuuper slow and not providing any distractions...but we're going on a trip this weekend, which I'm looking forward to. It'll be nice to get out into the mountains. Also starting to plan Thanksgiving with my parents, which is fun to think about (first time I've ever "hosted", even though it's just them)

    Questions: none

GTKY: What is your go-to coffee order? Either vanilla nonfat latte or vanilla nitro coldbrew (in warmer weather). At home I mostly drink plain coffee, so I like getting something a little bit fancier when I venture out
  • Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 5w6d, EDD June 30 but could be early July, haven't had an appt yet
    FTM/STM/STM+: STM+
    Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: Finding out
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: apple seed
Upcoming appointments: First appt on November 19
How are you feeling?: Pretty good actually. Still able to drink coffee - last pregnancy the thought of coffee made me feel sick, and that was such a bummer, because I LOVE coffee. Was able to do a 75 minute Peloton ride this morning. By dinner time I'm pretty exhausted, so workouts have to happen early. About to take my boys for a walk in the stroller.
Rants/Raves: I'm a mixture of excited and terrified for Election Day. I've been waiting for this day for just about 4 years now.
    Questions: none
GTKY: What is your go-to coffee order? I really like Starbucks' pumpkin cold brew, but I haven't been to Starbucks since March. I've made my own pumpkin spice lattes almost every day at home for months, haha. I also am a big fan of caramel macchiatos.

Rants/Raves: I'm also really anxious about the election
    Questions:

  • @Lisa3379 Same here, on the coffee. In general I just get an aversion to anything bitter. Last time I still drank coffee, but it was a tiny half-cup with tons of milk. So far so good, though

    Upcoming appointments:
Next week I have my intake
    How are you feeling?:
Nauseated 24/7. Gaggy half the time, and so many food aversions. Also, fatigue but I'm not getting a lot of good sleep because of the time change and other things.
    Rants/Raves:
Rave: I'm so glad for a supportive husband and a helpful family. Between my husband and my older sister, I'm not having to do a lot around the house and I can just lay on the couch and moan.
    Questions:
What meds are y'all on for nausea/vomiting? B6 and Unisom isn't cutting it for me and I'm hoping my doctor will give me something else that might work better.
GTKY: What is your go-to coffee order?
Caramel latte (either hot or iced). I'm super boring.

@akoros - Last year was the first year I hosted for Thanksgiving and it was so much fun! I'm going to have to step back this year and let someone else do it though. I'll be lucky to show up if I still feel this crappy.

@Lisa3379 - My coffee aversion hit right at 6 weeks. I can't wait until I can drink it again.
  • @marebear15 Luckily my dad was getting depressed about "not being able to cook" for Thanksgiving. When my mom told me I said that we have a kitchen and food, he's more than welcome to cook when they come down, so I'll have lots of help.
  • Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 7 weeks a couple days

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: a blueberry
    Upcoming appointments: nope
How are you feeling?: blahhhhhhh. We had all of our furniture delivered this week and I was able to function through all of it but now I’ve totally crashed.
    Rants/Raves:
    Questions:
GTKY: What is your go-to coffee order? Just a coffee with cream

I’m supposed to be hosting my first thanksgiving this year and I’m so nervous considering how crappy I feel. I need to start working but that’s obviously not going to happen. I guess we could just order everything but we love to cook so...

  • @Omie_Wise Could you ask others to help or bring things with them? You could also strategically plan to cook a few things that you/your family are very picky about and then outsource some of the other stuff and order out. Prior to my dad getting excited about cooking (I think he's going to take care of the turkey, stuffing, gravy, and carrots for me...which is like half the meal) I was debating ordering a pre-made (or at least a pre-prepped) turkey. If none of that is an option, start early and take it slow. Turkey probably needs to be made that day, but most other things can be done ahead of time and either finished or reheated in the oven on the day-of. Can slowly pick a dish-a-day to prep/cook and freeze or refrigerate. Finally, don't overstress. What are the 2-3 dishes you can't live without? Prioritize those, and it's ok if not all the rest get done.

How are you feeling?: nauseous as all hell. It’s been a rough week and the mornings are the toughest. I feel best with a full stomach but nothing sounds good and I’m never hungry. Haven’t been on this app in a while because I find it makes me queasy to be on the phone too much!

Rants/Raves: So happy the election is over and I can finally exhale!

    Questions: NATM

GTKY: What is your go-to coffee order? Chai latte. But if I do want coffee, it would be a mocha.
  • Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: June 25, 7 weeks!
    FTM/STM/STM+: STM (one 3yo girl)

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: blueberry

How are you feeling?: SO. NAUSEOUS. Like all day every day. No food sounds good. Even water makes me sick. 🤮
Rants/Raves: My husband works from home but very rarely has to go on business trips. Of course the week I feel the sickest he'll be gone ALLLLLL week 😤
    Questions:
GTKY: What is your go-to coffee order? No coffee for me!!
  • @gabs90 ughhhhh we sound the same with the nausea! Nothing sounds good so I don't eat and then I feel sicker!!
  • @megggosaurusrex you sound just like me!
  • I am impressed by all of you who regularly host Thanksgiving!! We are cooking this year but just for ourselves and kids so not too much pressure.

How are you feeling?: queasy and tired. Cranky still.
Rants/Raves: I'm glad to be working from home so I can nap as soon as school's over. I ordered larger sweatpants this week- it seems like I'll be WFH most of this winter so may as well be comfortable!
    Questions:
GTKY: What is your go-to coffee order? Half-caffeine. Too much caffeine and my heart goes crazy- I've fainted before because of it. Can't give up coffee though and love that little much of caffeine!
