Ok! So I had an appointment today with my high risk OB and it went well! We were able to catch baby's HB on the doppler, I almost missed it! It's not as loud as at 17 or 20 weeks which is when I heard it last time not on an ultrasound. We even heard him/her move! 😍
My blood pressure was borderline again, so she wants me to monitor it a few times a week until the next time I see her. I'm not too worried as I've needed 2-3 readings several times before, but still, I'd rather avoid having to take baby aspirin.
Also, weird thing, there's an 11lbs drop in my weight from last time (8 weeks) and today 4 weeks later... So for now we assume that one of the measurement is wrong, and we'll control in 3 weeks. I'm pretty sure I didn't lose weight. I wouldn't even know how as I've been a couch potato for 2 months and I eat all day and have never thrown up.
Now this week is busy, NT scan is on Friday and I have to get a COVID test on Saturday before my cerclage on Monday.
I had my 12 week appt today and everything is good after a huge scare! They couldn’t find babies heartbeat. Had to go for an US, while trying to stay positive and not just burst out crying. Baby was there.. heartbeat was 150! It’s official having an anterior placenta sucks. I hope as the baby grows it’s easier to find at my appointments because I can’t go through that every time.
@brynn_mamaof4 I'm sorry you had to go through that! Even without having an anterior placenta with my first, they couldn't find the HB at 12 weeks but she was just being difficult. Glad everything turned out okay!
@gusgus14 it was a horrible feeling. I’m hopeful as the baby is bigger it will just get easier and easier. I’ve never had that happen in my last 3 pregnancies so it put me into a total tailspin! 🙏🏻
@brynn_mamaof4 glad it all turned out ok! I was honestly preparing myself for that yesterday, but my scan is Friday so I thought I would have to wait till then. But luckily she caught the HB!
Appointment today went well. Pretty straightforward. Baby's heartrate sounds great. Doctor is happy with my BP and weight. Next check-up is in 4 weeks.
Had a 14 wk u/s today. I had planned it for a week ago but had to reschedule because I had COVID!! I've never made it past 10 weeks in a pregnancy so I had no idea what to expect. It was an amazing experience! Growth is right on track and man was she moving around! My husband got to be there too, which was so special. I'm very excited!!! I posted pics in the u/s thread - we're going to use them to tell my parents on Nov. 13th!! It will be their first grandchild 😊
Had an OB checkup today that went very well. Heartbeat 150ish on the Doppler which is so much slower than it was last week! It was like 170 only 10 days ago but this seems normal. Now just have to wait another 3.5 weeks to go back in! Because I had spotting between 8 and 12 weeks I had 3 ultrasounds in the first trimester, so now I need to make peace with much longer (and more typical) periods between seeing baby. Deep breaths!
We had a good ultrasound this morning, baby measuring at another day ahead at 12w4d (12w2d as per LMP) and all looked good. They also drew some blood for the genetic testing. 💙 Now next step is getting my cerclage put in on Monday, hoping from a smooth sail to full term from here 🤗🤞💪

I had my 12 week appointment and baby's heartbeat was good at 160! Also had blood work drawn for some basic labs and nothing else.very exciting.
