    @kadeephd, this time you kind of just have to wait it out. He should adjust in a couple of days. But, for next year, about a week out, increase bed and wake time by 10 minutes a day so that when DT ends, he'll already be sleeping at that time. Disclaimer, it's never worked for me, but most of my friends have said it works for them.

    Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: Pink. NMIL is super excited. She figured her other grandson was going to be her only grandchild. Then figured she'd only have grandsons when I had DS2. So, she's thrilled at a third grandchild AND at it being. A girl. She keeps telling me she's going to sew tons of dresses. My mother... Well, this is her 9th grandchild and 6th granddaughter, so she's just happy to have another. 

    Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Cardboard portion of a roll of duct tape. 

    Upcoming appointments: Nov 4, 16w OB. Nov 17, Anatomy scan. 

    How are you feeling?: Fine. Just tired. 

    Rants/Raves: My former employer is still holding my last check for my PTO hours. State law requires it be sent within 6 calendar days. We're on 13. I sent him a polite email asking about it. No response. I honestly think they have no idea how to do a vacation only check. It's 1700 dollars...i kind of want it. 

    Questions: Anyone notice our weirdo and all her posts disappeared? 

    GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy? Peanut Butter kisses and Peanut Butter Bars.

    @kadeephd daycare/preschool is the best! I am a much better mom when I have time away.

    @aisukurimsarang I would be very irritated about that check. Also, I didn't notice the weirdo and all her posts disappeared! Good eye!

    @rexnie agreed about the election... but I have a terrible feeling it's not going to be over for quite some time. I will just bury my head in the sand to preserve my sanity.

    How are you feeling?: Pretty good! Still queasy from time to time but not as exhausted as I was. My back is killing me though.

    Rants/Raves: The little Halloween party we had this weekend was really fun! Our city was allowed to have trick-or-treating so we brought DD but it was a total bust. The houses that did hand out candy gave her a ton because hardly anyone went. I guess it just doesn't make sense to me because we left out a bowl of candy - I'm surprised more people didn't just do that, especially if they didn't want to see anyone face to face.

    GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy? All of it... actually this pregnancy is easy because I really don't have a sweet tooth at all. My absolute favorites are Dots, Milk Duds, Sour Patch Kids, Skittles, Starburst and Butterfingers. Seriously... all of it.

    How are you feeling?: The most annoying thing right now is feeling dizzy. I’m still queasy on occasion and some days don’t have much of an appetite. 

    Rants/Raves: My Diclegis ran out and I called Friday to see if I could be prescribed something different. The nurse said sure, we decided on Zofran, and then our entire county lost power so I don’t think the prescription ever went through. So I have to call them again, which is just a minor inconvenience, but I hate making phone calls. 😂

    Questions:

    GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy? Reese’s! I also like Nerds. My children won’t share those with me though.

    How are you feeling?: So much better!  Only a little nausea over the weekend so I think I am at the official end of it! 😀

    Rants/Raves: Rant: I have a kaizen this week so I am stuck in meetings for 3 hours every morning, and then my afternoon is packed with other meetings.  Rave: We had amazing weather for Trick or Treat, which never happens where we live.

    Questions: I had the same question as @aisukurimsarang - where’d the weirdo birth announcements posts go from all the BMBs? She posted them to almost all of them and they were magically gone this morning.

    GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy? Anything that’s candy, candy (I am not a chocolate girl), so sour patch kids, DOTS, lemon heads, nerds, etc. Mmmmmm. 

    @kadeephd no tips, but sorry you’re not getting much sleep.

    @rexnie @aisukurimsarang Ah we should have tried a multi-day approach.  Yesterday he woke up super early, but also took a very long nap, so we wound up putting him to bed at his normal time of 7 last night and hoping he'd sleep until 6, but 4am it was.  We left him in his crib and he did eventually fall back asleep for a few minutes but I sadly did not.

    How are you feeling?: Feeling better. Getting more energy, but I still crash pretty early. Nausea has subsided, now more of a queasiness that comes and goes. 

    Rants/Raves: My co-workers are doing a baby shower, which is super nice of them so that is my rave.

    GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy? Hmm...probably the Reese pumpkins

    @buckeyenut05 @aisukurimsarang I noticed that she kept posting to every thread, even ones that were over a month old, but I didn't notice that she was gone. I didn't really understand her purpose though.

    How are you feeling?: Constant headaches and dizziness if I stand up too fast, which is very inconvenient as a dance teacher who is up and down and blaring loud music all day.. haha

    Rants/Raves: As both a rant and rave: DS has been literally glued to me lately. I love the extra snuggles and kisses, but I can't pee alone and the exhaustion is ruining what us supposed to be the second trimester energy boost.

    GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy? ALL the candy. I have a major sweet tooth and I love it all.

    @buckeyenut05 @aisukurimsarang @bbrahmbhatt I noticed the odd posts to old threads and such too.. I was confused by her existence in this BMB and just kind of ignored her.. I actually didn't notice they were gone. Maybe it was a bot account TB recognized and removed?

    @mamabee1113, I am with you on the clingy kid. DS2 has been super lovey dovey... A super clingy. It is exhausting. By the time he goes to bed, and have some down time, all I want to do is sleep

    I’ve also noticed the rando poster from last night before - like she’d bump a thread from a month ago with a comment that didn’t really make sense. I was surprised to see her post gone this morning...the bump gods must have found it and took care of her!

    @emeraldisle17 the concern with prosciutto is not actually nitrates, but rather listeria. That being said, I think we've all kind of said here before that we are less than stringent with "the rules" now and then. I definitely have had some italian meats here and there (charcuterie has always been a staple in our household and it's bad enough I have to sit out the wine!!). Plus election night = self care so necessary!! Enjoy :)

    @kadeephd definite connection- I'm a much better mom when there is daycare, and I LOVE 100 grand!
    @juliebird6 I looove Hershey's cookie and cream bars!
    @mamabee1113 Bennett's all about me too, which is so sweet and nice but also a little envious of DH relaxing on his phone while I'm reading the same book over and over. 
    @emeraldisle17 heck yea I would get after that prosciutto! In fact, some soft cheese and crackers tonight sounds amazing and I may have to jump on that too
    @Lexibizzel So envious! So many of my friends have had them and swear by them- my good friend is using one now and her kid is in 7 hour stretches at 6 weeks!

    @eahayes I don't know what I'm more excited about - feeling safe or the prospect of more sleep! Oh, and I really like the minimal look of them. Maybe your friend will rent or sell you her's? I did a lot of research and was comfortable buying given the resale value.

    @aisukurimsarang I noticed the random drive by posts to old threads.. Is the “Welcome! Read this first” thread that hard to miss considering it’s pinned at the very top? I’ve never been apart of a BMB prior, and managed to figure it out!

    @riff323 With you on Halloween.. it was a pretty disheartening year. Local Facebook groups were posting that there wasn’t going to be many houses hanging out candy this year (kind of a retirement community where I live) so I’d planned a Halloween party in, instead to save the disappointment but it still left a noticeable absence of cheer this year not trick or treating :/

    @kvh22 Props to you for even finding the time to pop in and post when you do during packing/moving chaos! I couldn’t imagine! Moving is my least favorite thing in the world and I couldn’t do it pregnant, not one bit! Lol  

    @mamabee1113 Your baby fact has me craving a croissant roll and spinach artichoke dip at 7am!  :D

    @emeraldisle17 Indulging once in a while keeps the insanity away ;)

    Upcoming appointments: Today! 

    How are you feeling?: Physically, exhausted. This pregnancy is nothing like my other two.. I know, every pregnancy is different. I keep saying I’m older this time and it is the 3rd but dang.. this was like the last month maybe with the others and I’m already there at the 4th this time. I’ve been in a funky, up and down place lately too. Between the weather not making up its mind day to day where I live (77 and sunny yesterday, cloudy with a possibility of snow today) and the election chaos and time change, my mind and emotions are just exhausting! 

    Rants/Raves: RAVE to my Mom, who drops anything to come up and help me with the kids and house or anything. Babysitter fell through for my appt today, I drive an hour to my ob and hubby has two appts today down there as well with specialists so I really didn’t want either of us to reschedule. My mom dropped everything in the matter of an hour yesterday to come up. My son is 7 tomorrow so it’s really nice to ha e the extra hands and eyes to get everything done for him to make it special. RANT about my FIL, he’s a pain in my a$$. Over the in-law theatrics this year and entitled people in general.

    Agree all the way on prosciutto & cheese trays! Love em and definitely had prosciutto and Brie last weekend!

    @juliebird6 I am SO with you on the drinking! I can’t wait to have wine in April!! (And don’t get me wrong - I’d totally be okay with small amounts here and there but it sounds and tastes SO bad to me right now!!)

    We got the genetic testing back and found out it’s another boy!  We’re thrilled for another boy, I’d have no idea what to do with a girl 🤣

    I had a phone appt a few days ago but it was super quick my next big one is 11/24 for the anatomy scan

    Rave is I started a new job a few weeks ago and finally told my boss about the pregnancy and she was really great about it.  Rant is deciding how to handle Thanksgiving this year, I was supposed to host 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

    None, trying to be more active but work and home is just so busy.

    @slord33 ugh thanksgiving is so stressful! We're technically supposed to be quarantining for 2 weeks post our move so we're just doing it with my mom and sister since we're staying with them while our stuff ships to our new house. It's a bummer having not seen anyone else since Christmas last year. I also just told my boss and she was super excited for me (at least externally). I think she's probably kind of freaking out b/c the timing is bad for our big event. I will come back a week before it and I am our team lead on it. Same thing happened 2 events ago and I made an amazing transition doc and did so much prep for it so we at least have a good starting point.

    @juliebird6 @goldpolkadot I can't wait for a glass of red wine <3 Hopefully baby sleeps well early so I can really enjoy a full glass but even a half glass would be great. I had a sip of prosecco yesterday and it was lovely

    @emeraldisle17 late to the game here so hopefully you've had your prosciutto but I definitely eat the "no added nitrates" stuff off and on - especially prosciutto on pizza slightly crispy b/c that kills the listeria risk. Highly recommend (fig or pear and proscuitto with goat or feta cheese - all baked so no listeria risk).

    @bluey101321 omg your mom sounds like a godsend! As much as moving while pregnant sucks, I'm looking at the light at the end of the tunnel of finally being closer to our families! My mom and sister will be such a big help so it's an investment in our mental health and long term happiness. Plus 5 ppl should not be living in a 1,000sqft 2br 1ba apartment lol.

    @kvh22 yaaaaas! I was always in the camp of drink while nursing bc it was the most optimal time before alcohol hits your system too much...aaaaaand a little wine seemed to help the sleep 😆😆😆

    Haven't posted on here in a week or two but I'm back!

    How are you feeling?: Good!! Had a second round of nausea strike about two weeks ago and felt terrible but fortunately didn't last more than a week and feeling good now! I did start to get itchy and had them run my bile acids for cholestasis (had it in all my other pregnancies) so we will see. It takes a few days for results.

    Rants/Raves: We totally lucked out with some gorgeous weather this week!!! I'm SO glad to be able to get outside daily again and not be cold or wet.

    Questions:

    GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween candy? I'm not picky... but prob Reeces. I've eat so much of my kids candy the past week. Ooops!

    @goldpolkadot yessss +1 to the drink while nursing to optimize the time between the drinking/it hitting your system and the next feeding. I was on ibuprofen for a pretty painful although not-quite a c-section surgery after DD2 so didn't drink until that was healed up but I think at about 2 weeks I was able to confidently drink after her. With DD1, she slept 6hrs from 10p-4a at 3 weeks and 8hrs from 10p-6a at 4 weeks so we were well rested and I could even have had multiple drinks if I wanted after that last feeding.
