Yesterday, I had a follow up ultrasound where my doctor confirmed that I had not progressed beyond 5 weeks. I had been measuring far behind on Monday, and based on my previous numbers and when I had gotten my BFP, the doctor was pretty sure I was miscarrying. Yesterday, I was still measuring at the same point—very small gestational sac and no more. I should have been 6.5-7 weeks.
I couldn’t stand just waiting for things to start happening, so I took the medication yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, it has been 20 hours and, despite heinous cramping, I still haven’t had substantial bleeding so I’m worried that I’ll need a second dose. I’m planning to call the on call doctor once it has been a full 24 hours. I really, really want to avoid a d&e though.
I’m doing ok, and I have been feeling really supported. The doctor made an exception to their Covid policy and let my husband come yesterday, a coworker took some work off my plate and I will probably take most of next week off, and my husband has been an angel. This group especially was so helpful, I really appreciated everyone’s thoughts through the last week. Thank you so much.
I am so happy for everyone here and wish you all healthy, happy, comfortable pregnancies💜
@nlc_atx I'm so, so sorry for your loss. Was really hoping for a different outcome for you. I'm glad you have support and are able to take off a few days this week. Im wishing you a quick recovery and healing, and hoping you find yourself back on a BMB when you're ready ♥️
@nlc_atx So sorry you are going through this. It is good to hear that you have a great support system and that they allowed YH to be there. Take care of yourself!
I’m so, so very sorry. 😟 I am so happy you have so much support, especially from your DH. That is beyond a blessing to have - please take care of yourself and wishing you and your DH the best in the future. ❤️❤️❤️

@nlc_atx I'm so, so sorry. Take care, and I will be keeping you in my thoughts. Hopefully the medication works soon, but if you do have to go for a d&c/e it'll be ok. I've had two, if you want to talk about that experience (or anything, really) my inbox is open
