Am I the only one confused about the 2nd trimester starting week 14? I would have thought it was week 13? 😆🤦🏼‍♀️

@brynn_mama I thought it started at week 13 too but both the bump and Ovia tell me I still have another week left of the first trimester (I hit 13 weeks yesterday). What the crap? I’m fairly sure my OB has second tri starting at 13 weeks. The internet seems split on 13 vs 14 🤷‍♀️

@gusgus14 in my mind... I’m going to go with 13 weeks. I’ve been dying to mentally make it to the 2nd trimester lol. Hoping all the nausea goes away or a good part of it. I can’t push it back (even though it makes no difference... I’m just mentally prepared!)

I thought it was week 13 as well. And also started feeling much better at the end of week 12 so I think 13 weeks makes more sense. But I guess I'll wait til Tuesday lol.

I asked the MFM clinic where I do my advanced scans about this when I went in last week and she said 2nd tri starts between 12 and 14 weeks depending on what doctor you ask!!

I told her I was mainly looking for a milestone to clear to be able to tell our families, and she said the positive analysis of my NIPT tests and the NT scan in combination with hitting 12 weeks would be a very good milestone after which she would feel good sharing the news. ❤️

But I’ll wait til 14 weeks to do the dance here!! 💃🏽 Second tri beyond all doubt!!

Oh I just went by The Bump with the 14 weeks! I'll edit the top message to say 13 or 14 weeks so everyone can participate from when they count their 2nd trimester!

Where I live, 2nd trimester starts at 15 weeks 😅🤦‍♀️

One day late but I'm officially in my 14th week!!! Farthest I've ever been in a pregnancy!

@ruby0902 took me a long time to figure it out yesterday. What worked for me is save the gif, then go to the toolbar above the place you're typing and click on the arrow beside the last icon (photo icon) and click choose files and select your gif.
